I know we've only won a hand full of games but jump aboard the Demons train. Maybe not this year and maybe not next but mark my words we are on the right TRACK. We have an abundance of skillful youth, pace and depth. Our running game is a far cry from last years. Our club and our supporters should be excited about our future. This side hasn't got me this excited since 1987, I'm 37 years old.

All you Melbourne barrackers become members and lets build this once powerhouse club to it's former glory.

We are full of heart and spirit!

We are definitely on track. The next 5 weeks will be very tough... Geelong, Carlton, Collingwood, Adelaide away (surely they will come good eventually), StKilda. If we won 2 of those it'd be flipping amazing.

Agree, but my thought process is different to last years or the year before;).

This year I look at the draw with optimism. I think we can win this 1, we're a chance there or pencil that in. I'll be at Geelong next week and the last time I was there we won. Not saying we'll win but I have hope.

And with Miller up forward again who knows.

Me either. You are a similar age to me but the way I understand the game has changed since I was last confident that we would climb to the heights we have ahead of us now.

One win & two close losses (10-30 points) would, in reality be enough, but I would love to snag another win & I feel that the Pies - despite being the second best team in 2010 so far, are our best chance.

We might be a chance against Carlton but I can't help but think back to when they couldn't buy a game in 2006 (And I bet they tried to buy a game :p) but they still managed to beat us twice. we still have the same mature/older players in our team that just don't seem to match up well against the tankers.
