All about Trump

Would you like to watch a library catalogue of Obama worshippers being read a long list of immigration policies instituted by Barack and they are under the impression that they are Trump's policies and quotes? They condemn them as shocking and racist and them comes the big reveal! It's been done to death.
This sounds like a Trump tweet. The cult is strong in you. The Dear Leader and ' chosen one ' would be impressed
The outcomes of all these allegations keep proving me right. They keep proving the conspiracy theorists wrong. That would be you and your Trump hating mates. Cult followers are generally not proven to hold sensible, fact based beliefs. That term is far more applicable to those afflicted with Trump Derangement Syndrome.

DNC suck so bad lol

Do you source sites, links that affirm your stance? I find it fascinating when looking at YouTube or links that posters often post. I don't have any sites that I visit regularly, try to watch as much live interviews as possible. If responses questionable, then I search other sites to see how they interpret but always come back to what I heard direct from the horses mouth, including Sondland's opening statement and testimony (although I think he was covering his back).

I used the following as a starting point and actually watched those two giving evidence and it is easy to cut sections out and put ones own slant on it.

The Trump Phone call is a pretty good starting point a couple of untruths there about the prosecutor:

Good because I heard you had a prosecutor who was very good and he was shut down and that's really unfair. A lot of people are talking about that, the way they shut your very good prosecutor down and you had some very bad people involved. Mr Giuliani is a highly respected man. He was the mayor of New York City, a great mayor, and I would like him to call you.

I will ask him to call you along with the Attorney General. Rudy very much knows what's happening and he is a very capable guy. If you could speak to him that would be great. The former ambassador from the United States, the woman, was bad news and the people she was dealing with in the Ukraine were bad news so I just want to let you know that.

The other thing, There's a lot of talk about Biden's son, that Biden stopped the prosecution and a lot of people want to find out about that so whatever you can do with the Attorney General would be great. Biden went around bragging that he stopped the prosecution so if you can look into it ... It sounds horrible to me.

Yep i'll go to the grayzone who have Aaron Mate and Glenn Greenwald and Maxc Blumenthal as journalists or the intercept which isn't as good these days.
I'll also watch shows like Secular Talk and Rising.
I'll read things like the New Yorker or the NYT or the Washington Post to see how bad they report things as the majority is either lies or corporate propaganda and i compare the 2 to see what they are saying and what the differences are in the reporting. It's mind blowing and sickening at the same time most of the time.

I am not sure there is anyone out there that doesn't have a bias one way or the other. Although some are more balanced but others:eek:.

I can't believe that I heard and saw the same thing that they are reporting on. It is quite amusing at times.

Maggie5 Bias do exist but any suggestion that NYT or Washington Post haven't done exceptional reporting in the Trump era is just plain wrong. From Sally Yates warning about Micheal Flynn to the Whistle blower's report these newspapers have excelled at moments. They're not perfect for sure and quite often deserve the backlash when critical facts are left out, sourcing isn't complete or go with a head scratching headline.
Having said that, Jimmy Dore is no saving grace, who ignores far to much in his analysis. Desperate to push the anti democrat, anti elitist MSM views he IMO commits the greatest political discourse crime. That is to say, he is arrogant about his own opinions and if you disagree you're dumb
Here are some positions that the far left/right don't like to admit

Russia did interfere in 16 ( They prefer to suggest Clinton was the sole reason for the loss )
Trump has severe financial interest in Russia. Eric Trump boasted about this.
Trump colluded with the Russians. ( No evidence he did but plenty his campaign team did )
Trump asked for Russian assistance during a press conference and they hacked the DNC shortly after.
Deutsche Bank was the only bank willing to loan Trump money and has criminal ties within Russia
Russians used Wikileaks through Gocifer 2.0
GOP echo Russian talking points.
Putin is ruthless and has had journalists and political opponents killed.

This is just of the top of the head at the moment. Russian deniers willful in their ignorance. If only we could get a look at Trumps financial records. It would clear a lot up, i wonder why he guards them so closely ?

Well... who would have thought the thin skinned man baby couldn't take some ribbing from other Heads of state and has decided to run home to the impeachment hearing he said he didn't have time for as he was attending NATO summit. Melania will be disappointed that she couldn't resume her 'friendship' with Tredeau. Hope his aides have his comfort blanket ready when he lands at Andrews air force base ;):rainbow:

I agree with you in most part which is why I never watch, read opinion pieces like Dore and also those that write opinion pieces in the papers you refer to. To me it is just that their opinion/interpretation which I find rather fascinating especially since I have either watched what they are referring to live or an unedited version.

It really concerns me that bias is clouding critical thinking and inability to distinguish fact from fiction or maybe make that lies.

I find it amazing that Trump backers excuse his constant lying.

I can't get over it especially if it concerns someone close to him. The latest one of not knowing Prince Andrews is too funny having spent a couple of days in June in the UK where he escorted Trump around the Abbey and the Palace. Does not include photos of him and Andrew from years ago.

Didn't know very well the following:

After his former personal attorney, Michael Cohen, directly implicated Trump in a felony, the president argued, in reference to the former vice president of the Trump Organization, “Michael Cohen was a PR person who did small legal work, very small legal work.”

Around the same time, in the wake of Jamal Khashoggi’s murder, Trump reportedly told associates he barely knows Mohammed bin Salman.

But that’s just the start of the list. When Paul Manafort was indicted, for example, Trump’s former campaign chairman became some random staffer “who played a very limited role for a very limited amount of time.”

When White House National Security Adviser Michael Flynn was forced to resign in disgrace, Team Trump decided he was “a former Obama administration official” who did some “volunteer” work for the president.

Carter Page was described as someone Trump “does not know.”
George Papadopoulos was dismissed as a “coffee boy.” Trump World even tried to downplay its association with Cambridge Analytica, the Trump campaign’s data firm.

Posting photos of Trump shaking hands with Prince Andrew is supposed to prove what exactly? The Queen has spent many intimate moments with Andrew. I wonder how deeply implicated she must be in this scandal. A number of Australian PM's have also been seen in his company. Outrageous. Your definition of "knowing" someone must be very different from mine.

Did Trump travel to orgy Island 26 times? Oh wait.. that was Billy Clinton who originally denied he had been there more than a couple of times. Your blinkered attitude is ridiculous. Clinton is the man everyone has ignored when it comes to associations with Epstein. Hillary was best friends with Weinstein and close to Epstein. Any issues there? Manaforte was jailed on charges related to business dealings from years before he assisted Trump and Flynn is an innocent man, denied due process. Even FBI agents are on record as saying he never lied and the truth will come out soon. The only reason any of these people are being hounded and charged is because they had the temerity to support Trump. Why were these charges not brought against Manaforte years ago?

Papadopoulos and Page were only targeted because they were linked, however tenuously, to Trump. The truth is coming out. They were set up and spied on. Everyone laughed and mocked Trump when he first said the Obama administration had spied on him. Who is laughing now? The IG report will provide some evidence of this corruption but it's the Durham investigation which will likely see criminal charges brought against a number of CIA/FBI officials and corrupt Democrats like Schiff.

"Whataboutism' on display in it's finest form.

It proves he is a liar, which was my main point - argue that!

All politicians lie. Name one who doesn't or hasn't. That's just the pathetic pretext used by people who have a toxic obsession with Trump to bash and denigrate him each waking day. Trump's "lies" are usually a result of exaggeration and boasting. Eg." My inauguration crowd was the biggest ever" That is harmless though annoying to those who hate him. It hurts no-one. Obama repeatedly assured the American people that they could keep their own doctor when Obama Care kicked in. it was a lie which badly hurt hundreds of thousands of people who believed him. He also said under no circumstances would he run for office in 2008 and a few months later he nominated. It's all on tape. Clinton lied about his sexual adventures to congress. George Bush lied about WMD and started a war which killed hundreds of thousands of people. These are lies which we should feel concerned about. These are harmful, deceitful lies. Far worse than Trump's boastful, ego pumping nonsense. Trump is often self deprecating and humorous and the bs is all a part of the show.

As for "whataboutism" I find the denigration of this term to be laughable. "Whataboutism" exposes double standards, hypocrisy and cant. It is obvious that people do not like having their bigotry and bias exposed so they brand any examples of their double standards with this term and believe they have dealt with the accusation. If you find a particular human trait abhorrent then you must find it abhorrent whoever the human who displays it happens to be. If you pick and choose when you want to express outrage over dishonesty or greed, depending upon which person is exhibiting it or any other vice, then your protestations are completely hollow and entirely invalid.

You waste your time M5, he never has anything other than "Ohhh, look over there everyone, there's a bucket full of squirrels"
This paragraph applies to you as much as it does Maggie5

Give it up, you just don't get it!

Stay strong supporting an adulterer, a liar, a cheat and a sexual predator.

"Oooh and look, I think one of the squirrels is doing tricks"

I left out setting up a false charity and pocketing the takings.
And gosh only fined 2 million dollars to I doubt that came out of his pockets he don't work that way.
No wonder he is heading to the Supreme Court to stop his bank transactions being made public.
Would an honest person do this??

6 Times Bankrupt.
But I like your list.
I really just get annoyed where you make a post about one thing - the lies, then we go onto other Presidents etc etc.

Clinton was impeached for perjury - tick and thoroughly deserved - I don't have an issue with it and certainly don't/wouldn't defend him. Bush? I wasn't politically involved but if he too lied - well then - tick again but that is the past.

I just don't get that if one supports Trump, they have to jump in with 'whataboutism' to defend him. It is tiresome.

What is tiresome is the almost comical and truly endless barrage of hatred of Trump that spews from so many sick people every day be it online, on tv or in the newspapers. Every single day. Almost all of it concocted out of nothing more than rage over his winning an election. That is exhausting for any reasonable person. When are confronted with pushback to this insanity and I calmly point out the many others who have done far worse, with little to no reaction from the press or public, you say are confused and find it tiresome.

I find Trump bashing to be one of the more mindless, mob driven obsessions of my lifetime.

However, let's remain in the present. I have not read one word from you condemning the utter sham of an impeachment going on at the moment nor a comment on the two and a half years of lie upon lie spoken by Democrats with regard to Russian collusion. If lying disturbs you then you need to turn your head to the left where you will find a daily Schiff pile of them to whine about. If it is lying which disturbs you, how about Pelosi saying she prays for Trump every day and finds the impeachment process a difficult and upsetting process! :D She says it with a straight face too!

It's always been a mystery to me as to how Trump has not been nailed on anything by the Democrats when they have literally spied on him, lied about him, framed him and attacked him every day since his election. There were eighteen Trump haters on the Russian collusion investigative committee and they still found nothing to pin on him. If they applied one tenth of this scrutiny to any previous president they would be rotting in prison. Trump is apparently an evil, lying monster and after three years they have nothing on him. Strange.

Did you read the latest economic reports? Stunning aren't they? More and more jobs, booming manufacturing industry, wages rising......good times. You should be feeling happy for the lucky Americans.
