Spoke to a mate who is good friends with Craig Lambert at the GF today. Claims Montgomery, Harvey etc. had approached Kernahan to complain about Ratts and his lack of coahing ability. Apparently Harvey was in there for two hours telling Sticks, Ratts does not listen to advice and dismisses their input. Stick's solution: get rid of them. Replaced, to date, with John Barker who was given the lemon sars from two other clubs. I for one don't think it is healthy for a president to be great mates with the coach. Grigg then decides he wants out also. Also mentioned huge play will be made for Roos in 2011.

When the whispers & innuendo start coming from reliable sources, then you should worry. Posters who name their sources as a mate of a mate, or a relative of a relative, are not reliable sources, they are shit-stirrers.

When you see what he has done with the pies over the last 10 years I would happily pay him $2m a year.

Totally agree there, they have proved time and time again they can get the best out of most of their players, I'm pretty confident we will be making huge play for Malthouse at the end of 2011, there's absolutely no chance he will want to continue in the role as a director of coaching

Ratten's only saving grace imo should be if we make a finish top 6 and win a first final convincingly, unless we have a very good trade week I'm not so confident we will be able to achieve that
