Even if you don't trade the compo pick though it'll be unders. Might as well make something good of a bad situation.Seriously? Geelong only lose Kelly for Gaff?
Same as it was for Hawthorn when they lost Buddy.

That's probably something you'd probably know more about then me.Are West Coast plus Kelly really that much better than without?
Just strikes me as another Wellingham/Redden.
Yes, Redden has come good this year hasn't he.View attachment 537322
Yeah Wellingham one is oversbut Redden has been huge for us in the middle this year and looking like the trade has worked out.

Probably reckon Redden would be ahead this season. He's played much crucial role for us this season as a front line mid and we barely lost anything when shuey was injured early the year due to him stepping up as our second on baller. Kelly on the other hand has had the luxury of playing 4th/5th in in line in a very good/deep midfield.Yes, Redden has come good this year hasn't he.
They are probably close to on par this season though and Kelly is still three or so years younger and in his first year of league footy
Yeah, could go either way.Probably reckon Redden would be ahead this season. Im a huge fan of Kelly but it would be interesting how he would do in a midfield thats not as star studded.

Yep, doesn't sound goodConnors comments today reeks of deflection.
Andrew Gaff is someone who always likes to take his team when working out a new contract according to his player manager Paul Connors.
With players re-signing left and right, Gaff’s value continues to rise as the premier out-of-contract midfielder in the competition.
Connors confirmed he’s received offers from a number of Victorian clubs, but doesn’t appear in any rush for the midfielder to make a decision.
“I think there’s six Melbourne based clubs that would be interested in Andrew Gaff, but West Coast is a pretty good club that’s doing a lot right and they don’t lose many players,” he told the AFL Nation pregame show.
“He’s a deep thinker who just takes his time and I said it last year, Josh Kelly in July was leaving (GWS) and in August he’s staying, so Gaff’s just taking his time.
“He’s a young man who always does his contracts late.
“(Gaff) doesn’t seek out (offers from other clubs), he just knows that there’s interest back home.”
Connors praised West Coast for the way they’ve handled the situation with their out of contract star.
“Of course (the Eagles) would love an answer, but they’re very respectful. They’re a mature club that’s been through this before,” Connors said.
“They’ve got finals to think about and top two and other issues on their mind.
“He’s got everything in front of him from West Coast, he’s just grappling with whether he stays.”
The Eagles will be hoping to strengthen their grip on the top two as they prepare for the Derby on Sunday afternoon against the Dockers.

Not much. 6 week normal holiday, minus the AFL/Eagles discount and another week for all those tears, takes his time off down to 2 weeks. How much did his price just drop?
He is clearly rattled. He is going to go all white-feather philospopher knowing that he is going to be a target and not just from Fremantle players. Brayshaw's brother is on their list, and the family is one of the most popular footballing families ever. You would expect him to re-sign very quickly, if he's staying, on the back of that.

Don’t be ridiculous. He’ll cop his fair whack and be ready to line up on the wing for North in Round 1 next season.Does anybody still want him?
Surely Melbourne & Hawthorn are the 2 he would look at from that groupIf offers of $1.2 are true that will be a very hard offer to knock back imo, Whats the most Eagles could go to ? Would they do a similar offer as McGovern's
6 teams at a gues
StKilda
Melbourne
Hawthorn
North
Blues
Bulldogs

Yeah, yeah. Melbourne would be the right club for him. I mean what could possibly be wrong with that idea?if i was him i would go to Melbourne. Get a lot of money while being home
James Brayshaw might put in a good word for him you reckon?Don’t be ridiculous. He’ll cop his fair whack and be ready to line up on the wing for North in Round 1 next season.
