ak

AK easily

been an AA, and won a b&F.

has more variety to his game, better marker, and disposer of the ball also helped by staying injury free - how he was never picked up/drafted by anyone until 1997 ??? is a mystery to me - was he just no good as a junior ?

also earns my respect by turning down the big $$$ the Tigers offered him at end of 2000 as he felt he didn't deserve them - I'm sure Dunc would have too, but by doing so coming off a B&F and AA seleection and given the usual Tiger senior player greed whennit comes to contract time - that was a huge call. Also a top goalie in the international rules series!!!

Andy Kellaway.

As Steve said been in the All Australian team a couple of times. Seems to really work on his fitness levels eg staying out of trouble (injury wise) and well just being more fit.

Very hard pick though. Duncan was/is a hero but now really getting older. Will give it up at the end of the season - my tip.

Duncan, even though he's had a lot of injuries of late, he has played far more consistently than Andrew, and stopped the likes of Hird and Carey whereas Andrews form can change week in week out.

I would say that AK has been the most consistent Tiger player for prob the last 3 years - esp this year, him and Chaff give their all each and every game.

In fact, i can't remember a poor game ever from AK

AK by a country mile.
DK had one very good year in 95 and was a topline defender who could take a strong mark. For some strange reason someone decided to make him a midfielder and the rest is history. He went down the toilet bigtime!
His efforts have been courageous, but seeing him play so long in the midfield is an indication that we are a club wallowing in mediocrity. If he plays one more year, we are a very very tragic club indeed.
If he was playing under 18's these days, he would never get to AFL.

Andy in my view has beeen a more consistent player in the time that he has been at the club then dunc.

Neither can be questioned on there heart and courage and would be pretty much on par in this respect, but as steve pointed out andy has a few more stings to his bow and for those reasons i'd mark him ahead of Dunc.
