Andrew Wiggins

Except that those are his high school highlights and as this year goes on Wiggins clearance at the #1 spot is being threatened by Randle and Parker.

I still think he goes at 1 but he's not appearing to be the franchise superstar on the LeBron and KD level that was regarded as guaranteed.

Joel Embiid is moving up

I think Parker will go no.1. I know there is untapped potential with embiid and wiggins, but Parker is the one player who looks the most like a ready made NBA player who will be a very good player from the start. This is going to one draft where a team with the no.1 pick is unlikely to be taking any risks. I think embiid and wiggins (to a much lesser extent) are still risks.

Wiggins will still go number 1 imo.

Wiggins: Worst case scenario is Iggy, best case scenario Clyde Drexler.
Parker: Worst case scenario Caron Butler (in his prime), best case scenario is Melo (better intangibles and more of a team player though)

Wiggins is much more capable on defence due to his size and athleticism so I think that will push him across the finish line.

Unless Embiid keeps improving, it's Wiggins. I don't see Parker going #1 even though he has the biggest chance of being the best player in this draft

Just found out something very scary. Embiid only started playing Basketball in 2011. This means that his game is still probably growing at a rapid pace.

I started playing basketball 8 years before him and I'm 16 years old

I have always liked Randle since I got in rhythm with this draft class a year ago. Not that he's going to be the number one pick, but everything he does on the court apart from maybe his post defence screams consistently good to great over his NBA career. From the PF spot that is invaluable.

Parker has been outperforming Wiggins so far this season undeniably.

Emblid is the big leaper imo, can be anything and is starting to realise it.

I think with Wiggins is that his jump shot is not always consistent, He's a natural shooter but he wont be in the NBA unless he works on his routine

He's still going to be picked first. This era good wing defenders are rare as hell while the PG/PF spots are pretty well stocked, Give me a young SF who could be top 3 in his position then a pg who could be top 5 or a PF who could be top 5.

Wiggins is still averaging like 16 pts and playing well within the system, he isn't needed to score as much as Parker is at Duke. That being said, Wiggins could probably be a bit more aggressive at times because he is so talented.

Parker's scoring ability is crazy but, reminds me a lot of Melo.

Just with team orientation ringing in his ears, a lot to like about him and is probably the safest bet to be a star in the NBA :thumbsu:

I would say Parker's basement is Joe Johnson. The ceiling won't be known until he defends NBA players. I don't think he is a Melo type one way player.

Embiid looks amazing, he looks like the old school real franchise 5 spot player we have not had since Tim Duncan. His mechanics look really good, another year in college would be ideal but that won't happen obviously.

Wiggins worries me a little because his technique has some flaws. Marvin Williams is close to my heart as an elite athlete with NBA caliber shooting however he was just a ****** at attacking the basket as well as creating his own shot. I have said this before but I have never seen a guy straight up lose handle and get the ball knocked away while driving to the basket so much. Hence he stands around shooting now. Athleticism is great but you need decision making and more ability to finish at the rim in the NBA.

Having said all that - if we get a top 3 pick I want Wiggins :D

Exum is the real wild card. Parker/wiggins/embiid/randle seem to be almost locked into the top 5.

But the various things you read on the internet suggest Exum could be anywhere from pick 1 to 10.

Yeah he looked pretty good today, 17 pts, 19 reb

Embiid looks so impressive aswell, at the moment I would have Wiggins and Embiid and 1 and 2 if I was picking in the draft

Embiid's footwork/athleticism/size is crazy
