Another shocker Hart!!!!

Another bloody gutless performance by the most over rated player in the team...still continues to play from behind & surrenders front position every time......did the same thing with Tarrant as he did today,allowing Graham to get to the ball first....surely if a 35 year grey headed backman from Port can beat Tarrant simply by playing on him & not surrendering front position then it ought to be good enough for the so called "All Australian defender" to do the bloody same,with everyone he plays on....it's a cardinal rule of football.........

Compare that to John****'s who today playing in the same defence as the all australian had 19 possesions & 8 marks & whose season average is 18 & 4 marks & so far this year hasn't been beaten.........

IMO Hart should be offered in a trade aimed at securing a quality key tall defender one capable of playing CHB on the tallest strongest key forwards week in & week out..........lets face it his best football is way past him & a change of club would bring out the best in him....& some clubs like Melbourne,Fremantle or the Western Bulldogs would jump at him...& we could get something reasonable for him at this stage of his career.......West Coast years ago moved heaven & earth to get Gardiner .......& sacrifed players on there list... we need to do the same....he could even be used to get young Faulkner back to Adelaide........in fact anyone who is going to average 18 or more quality possessions each week will do..........

as a senior member of this club his contribution is well below that of the other senior players & it's time to tell him his time is up !!!!

They must be good drugs you are taking Blighty. Hart was keeping Graham quiet until he was taken off him. Sure he didn't have one of his best games, but niether was his opponent (although I agree a change should have been made against Tarrant). Hart only rarely plays a bad game for us. One of our true legends. I would be most upset if he was traded as he has been a loyal servant. You are crazy to suggest this.

Can't agree with you on the harshness of your call here blighty. While Hart might not be at the peak of his form in past weeks, it's nowhere to the degree that you say.

As for Ben Graham - pffffttttt!!! No impact on the game at all IMO.

Hrm I'm not so sure. He's had a few quiet ones this year, if not in most games.

Perhaps if we knew for sure Hart would not have enough impact in the future (which there is no way anyone could know), then trading him would make sense. But, you have to give him a chance. I don't think basing his future on his performance against Tarrant is fair or just.

He deserves more of a go -- after all, he was B&F last year.

I'm judging the performance over his career ! Todays performance when it was a danger game requiring the senior players to lead he was ordinary as he has been for the past month........ The bloke needs to be judged on his contribution not whether he's a so called legend..........his reputation comes from the fact that he's an all round good guy,& cornes & cunninghams love child who laud everything he does.......but he is only a back flanker who doesn't play hard enough & is an entirely overrated.

His play in the past had him running off players........ he no longer does that....today he is too slow, reactive & indecisive & seems to be in the side simply to bring the ball in from a behind...because Bassett can't kick over a jam tin

I don't see him heading the assists..........shepherds, knock on's,etc [as Parkin says the sacrificial acts] or putting his frame in the way John****, Massie or Smart or Torney do practically every week. all of those blokes tackle more & do it better than he does.From what I'm told he's also one of the quietest blokes out there....I would have thought leadership required far more presence especially by voice.....

I have to say I was very disappointed with Hart's game today. he did have a shocker by his standards. He hasn't had as good a year as last year but he has been OK. Trading him would be stupid. He is only 28 and can play for another 4-6 years. I would be p*ssed off if we traded him.

But he has been good in most games this year and will not be dropped or traded

All of us have one or two players we just don't like and for Blighty it appers to be Ben Hart

For me it was always Matty Robran, and now its Mattner.

3 games out of 10 is not that flash, but the weekends game wasnt a total loss because we won.
Try and remember the terrific things he has done. They far outwiegh the poor games.
