Hi Cat fans, Menschy here.

The Geelong juggernaut keeps rolling on! After thrashing St Kilda on the weekend it appears that the sleeping giant of the competition has well and truly woken. Things got a bit rough during the game with Barry Hall throwing a few haymakers, but i was brought on as a Roger Merritt-type enforcer to keep him in line through my physical intimidation. Grant Thomas is struggling to find his team some form. He called me last night for some advice on how to get his guys on track. I explained that the best thing to do was to kick as many goals as you can, whilst at the same time try to limit the opposition's ability to score. He didn't seem to understand so in the end i just told him to piss off.

I was watching Home and Away the other night when it occurred to me that if Craig Bradley is still playing at the age of 37, there's no reason why i can't go on that long either. Oh, sure, it means i have to put off my singing career for another few years, but with bands like the Backstreet Boys, N'Sync and Nikki Webster i think that pop music is in good hands for the time being.

It was a good crunch time goal by Ben Dixon yesterday. It reminded me of Ablett's goal after the siren in the 94 prelim. He was no certainty to score, but i sensed his anxiety and called out "You'll be right Gazza", and he calmly slotted it through to put us in the grand final. I don't think i received the recognition i deserved for my contribution in that situation, but sometimes life isn't fair....

Given your obvious affinity for bands like N'Sync maybe you could follow in John Barnes footsteps and finish your glorious career off at Essendon.

You music tastes are sure to be a hit with their fans! :D

Menschy,

Do you think that Geelong would consider trading you to Essendon for Matthew Lloyd and another player?

I think it would be unlikely that Essendon would part with Lloyd and Jason Johnson, but they may consider Lloyd and Caracella.

Do you think it would be a fair swap? How would you like playing in front of Essendon's mature and well-versed supporters?

Essendon are a team of champions, so I would probably fit right in. But i am sick of them trying to lure me to their club. The simple fact is Geelong FC would never let me leave. However, to humor your suggestions; in trading me to Essendon, Geelong would be losing a significant amount of pace. Therefore, a name like Ramanaskas would be thrown around the trade table. Also the cats would require a player capable of taking breathtaking hangers - Moorcroft. To make up for the hardness at the ball Jason Johnson might suffice. Whilst a 3 for 1 deal would be quite flattering for me, I just could not leave the cattery.

Cat attack, GO CATS!
Cat attack, GEELONG!

Her Menschy - I'm surprised you have forgotton the Qualifying final of that year - you were the one that kicked it to Billy! Remember? Hocking, to Mensch - to BILLLLLLLLLLLLLLY!!!!

Wasnt life grand that night? Nobody could have made a pass with that perfection to Billy than you - and you showed no selfishness by letting Billy kick the goal and not you!
