cos I've been following this club long enough to care about how they perform.
I'm not just going to bury my head in the sand and hope things are going to be alright, because we've been hoping for too long and seen nothing.
Mate, the whole thing seems to be killing you. It's meant to be a bit of fun, but you seem unable to gain any enjoyment whatsoever from watching the Tigers. You bag the players, the coach and the other supporters incessantly.
If you think the future of the RFC is going to be dramatically different, then you're the one kidding yourself. The reality is, based on the current AFL format, we are going to average one premiership every sixteen years. And that's discounting the probability that some other clubs are just better placed politically/economically and will win more than their fair share.
Instead, just enjoy the team, chuck in your membership money to Punt Road every February, cheer us on when we win, shout louder if you think we won't, and stop pretending that your ruthless approach of Monday morning verbal hammerings to every player who ain't Chris Judd or Royce Hart is necessary to move us forward.
