cos I've been following this club long enough to care about how they perform.

I'm not just going to bury my head in the sand and hope things are going to be alright, because we've been hoping for too long and seen nothing.

Mate, the whole thing seems to be killing you. It's meant to be a bit of fun, but you seem unable to gain any enjoyment whatsoever from watching the Tigers. You bag the players, the coach and the other supporters incessantly.

If you think the future of the RFC is going to be dramatically different, then you're the one kidding yourself. The reality is, based on the current AFL format, we are going to average one premiership every sixteen years. And that's discounting the probability that some other clubs are just better placed politically/economically and will win more than their fair share.

Instead, just enjoy the team, chuck in your membership money to Punt Road every February, cheer us on when we win, shout louder if you think we won't, and stop pretending that your ruthless approach of Monday morning verbal hammerings to every player who ain't Chris Judd or Royce Hart is necessary to move us forward.

Iam sick of people that go on and say oh were going to be **** yet again. Just because we have not won a game in the preseason(who cares) get a bloody life already winning games now wow how good is that.

It's not winning in pre-season that worries me.

It's the same old skill errors, bad decisions and style of play that we've all seen before.

Just because you haven't won a practcie match some of you Tiger fans need to relax a little. There are some big positive for you guys as you start the year.
1. Nathan Brown is back on the field and is looking fit with him Richo and Kingsley forward there are some guys who can have days out.
2. Kent Kingsley will be now taking the third or fourth best backman less pressure and weaker or junior player will be his match up.
3. Foley looks to be a player, he is quick can find the pill and uses it ok.
I think the Tigers will finish around 5-8 on the ladder and remeber Rome wasn't built in a day you guys like the Hawks can be very impatient when it comes to young players. Once they have the size and strength the confidence will follow then the true player will be unleashed.
Good Luck in 2007

Kent Kingsley or Kant Kicksley as he is otherwise known is a useless pickup and will do absolutely nothing for us.

First of all I've never bagged the supporters. After what they've been thru, they're probably the most loyal supporters to be sticking with this useless, underperforming club.

People always say that RFC supporters are "feral". I reply that they would be too after what we've gone thru for the last 25 years.

I also do not bag TW. He is a very good coach, and probably the only hope we've got to get us out of this hole. I did bag all the previous coaches cos most were crap.

Mate we are not averaging 1 flag every 16 years. If we were I would be HAPPY. The sad reality is we've only made 2 finals series in 25 years! Not good enough.

There's nothing to be happy about finishing 9th every year. It's this loser mentality that will keep us down. RFC has to realise this is a ruthless competition and it's all about winning. That's all that counts.

I do love the Tigers but it seems like yet another year of underperforming.

I hope the hell you lot are right cause I will be the first to say I was wrong.

Trying to fire em up but I think we need rockets up their arses to do that.

You can bag me all you like-I respect the Richmond faithfull-the ones that love the club day in day out-you guys need a medal and then a holiday-the players owe you lot big time.

our forward line has struggled to kick more than 12 goals a game for yrs. richo pettifer krakouer schulz brown have been regular forwards and have failed to kick winning scores.
throw in kingsley a 28yo short term ff who cant kick straight. its not as if our rebound of the backline, mids, and onballers are going to dominate that much that we can afford to not take what opportunities we do create.
not only have the above failed to kick goals as a group they are slow and defensively poor lack agrgesion and in some cases are soft.
