As good as it would be to have guys like SJ and Riccardi in the side, I can't see anyone who really played a bad game yesterday... so I say - no changes this week for Port.

Should we change Mackie?
I wouldnt. He has skill and footy smarts. He will be part of the new look Geelong Line-up in a few years, keep him in for the rest of the year unless he is really out of form, but i think he played well on the weekend.

I would love to Squeeze Ricco into the lineup, however players, like Tenace do not deserve to be dropped, however i think Prismall might be the unlucky if Ricco pulls up well from another week in the ressies.

NOTE: Spencer is no chance to return.

I'm guessing Prismall for Riccardi - maybe even Byrnes (got in the Best and 3 goals today) might be the only change for this Sunday unless we get an injury or 2 during the week. So far, possibly one change.

I don't think we should be dropping players after winning by 11 goals, imo it's better to reward those players who performed and stick with a winning formula... Besides by all accounts no-one in the vfl played so magnificently as to force their way back into the side. I'll be extremely annoyed if either Kent or Krusty(kelly) are promoted back to the seniors.

I'm with you Hoff. I wouldn't make any changes, as I thought everyone did their bit. I like the look of Prismall a lot and Tenace is slowly starting to become more consistent.

Yeah, he stole my lunch money, my girl and used to outmark me at school footy.

Seriously though, the guy has no place on our list.

Tenace has been lucky to keep his spot several times this year IMO. Pre-season I thought he would be one of our main mids, but he has had little impact in far too many games this year.

I hear what you are saying but i disagree. I think Tenace is finally starting to realise just how good he will be.

in the next 2-3 years he will be fantastic.

Me too. Bring James back for the Brisbane game (if he stays in form), not sooner!!!! He *usually* plays pretty good at the Gabba.

(Plus I want some eye candy ;))

TheHoff -

Yeah maybe, I was more sold on him this pre-season, than I'm now. However, having said that he should become one of our top 5 mids in the future. He has just ****ed me off way too times this year.

No change

McCarthy keeps Playfair out
Mackie keeps Kingsley out
Wocjinski keeps Callan out
Tenace keeps Byrnes out
Prismall keeps Riccardi out
D Johnson keeps Koula out
Stokes keeps S Johnson out

And the rubber chicken on my desk at work keeps Kingsley out.

Heard on the news that Mooney, Gazza and Rooke didn't complete training and are in doubt for Sundays match.

Apparently Mooney has a calf twinge (or whatever you want to call it).
I think Gaz is still suffering from a bit of a groin injury but he has till Sunday to be ready so I think he will play. Anyone know whats wrong with Rooke?
