I guess the only way to describe it is the look of a man who's had two knee reconstructions, was on the verge of being discarded, but now the stars have aligned for him to play in a grand final. I cannot imagine the emotions he would be feeling, and I reckon he will play out of his skin on Saturday arvo.

I suspect McGovern has had a run and tried but felt the tightness. He has then told the coaches and ruled himself out. Hence the reaction from the playing group 'thanking' him for his honesty. I think Gov has done the team thing here.
Otten will play and I suspect play well. I think he will kick 2 goals. He definitely deserves to be there after all the injuries and heartache.

Obviously Gov's a player that's fully bought into Pyke and Walker's "Team First" mantra

thats a shame, was planning to do the training/parade double which we did in 97/98
