balmy wasnt exactly overly defensive about the issue either tho. just said they wld look at things at the end of the yr. smells a bit fishy i reckon. wldnt b surprised if we did put him up on the block as trent west is coming along in leaps and bounds in the 2s.

Are you serious? You really expect people to be giving us a 1st round draft pick for someone who hasn't performed consistently for years and is approaching the twighlight of his career?

Proven ruckmen do seem to have rather long careers. Shaun Rehn was still handy with the Hawks and Salmon came back after a year off an did his bit. Clarke is still going at the saints after they persuaded him out of retirement so who knows. I'll reserve judgment until the end of the year. I have the feeling that Kingy may have a part to play come September.

I'd love to see King find form, re-establish himself and prove evryone wrong. Not convinced it's gonna happen, but would be happy if it did.

Balmy said that had been NO trade talks invovling King or anybody else it was Waldron and others stirring the pot. He said he is a quality ruckman, lets hope he can get back to his best. I agree good luck Kingy.
