how about we all pitch in to buy a real gold jacket? everyone knows the wobbles couldn't afford that. we could give it to juddy after we trounce them by 60 points in round 4 then have it on a rotational basis.

the navy blue crew....
That actually roles off the tongue nicely. The problem is with these things they are not the easiest to start. Usually 'crews' and things like that are starter by accident, but i don't see why we couldn't give it a try.

I was in the cheersquad bout 15 years ago, kept getting in trouble for playing footy instead of cuttin numbers!! and dropped out.

The banner was turned to show to all the crowd before it got run through and everyone would go nutts! And more often than not our team would back it up!

A lot of the people got sick of the set up, so they formed a break away group called "The rebel cheersquad". responsible for the soccer style chants of "come on you blues" etc...that was the end of us having quality hand painted portraits of Sticks and co. on our banners with quality words!

I think since we left optus we lost the passion and when your teams down by 10 goals its hard to be vocal every week. But there is no doubt that as soon as the team hits some form we will all be there as one passionate army!!

We have alot of scores to settle with opposition clubs and supporters, when our boys back up our talk:D, groups will form:thumbsu:

If you guys know your English movies -Green Street or the Football Factory
Bring it on
I spoke often to the Cheer Squad leader last year.Nobody would even bother to turn up to help make the banner etc.It is a poor reflection on the fans in Melb. Here in Perth there is never a shortage of people willing to help on game day for functions and the team. And the supporters all sit in a cluster and go nuts. This of course usually annoys Dockers and Eagles fans and often leads to heated exchanges often causing good Blues to be kicked out, arrested or taken to hospital
WABlues - we rock!

no point in just saying it though.. people need to start something up and gather people who will be there week in week out not just wen were doing well..

I hear you.
Can you tell more more details on the chants?

yer we need 2 start something. LIke a actually cheer sqaud instead of the disable and druggies there now. I like the idea of the Green street idea were we can punch on with essendon and collingwood supports after every game. This is what make the game of soccer so good cause as the actually game is boring they gotta fight. Imagine how good it will be if we add this to our game. Also we should mive back to the grestest ground of all time . Yes your right PP. i know alot of you do gooders out there will say this is a joke but having a krew ill be sick for the club and the game!!

Both excellent movies, but if it's gonna' get that serious, im happy standing with the pissheads thank you very much:)

Now I do not endorse such behaviour>We as WABlues never start things but quite often finish it.Of course once we start winning again (it has been what 8 years now at Subi) we will be too busy with what is on the field to care about anything other the celebrating.
At Subi you can only buy mid strength so it is too hard and expensive to get too drunk. This helps to control the rowdy element!Plus the security will always give the visiting team supporters worde treatment than the Western teams
But I do hate when our Blues even at the start of the game don't want to sing the song etc.
This year, competely wet thru and getting flooged the fans still supported the team until the final siren. Then went and drowned their sorrows!
