Hi guys,

We're coming up to the round 20 clash and was wondering if anybody knows whether additional seating gets released as it gets closer to the day.

Do Sydney club members get certain seating allocation at the ground because this is now 2 years in a row that Ticketek releases crap seating on the first day of selling.

Is it near impossible to get a decent seat on a wing if you're not a Sydney member?

Just curious whether this is the case or not because Ticketek were useless when i tried to get some info today. Any help would be great.

Cheers ;)

I sympathise.I tried to get friends some tickets for the Collingwood game and it was a bloody nightmare. Ticketek is shithouse!

Yes most wing lower level are allocated to Swans members!

Only advice.

1.ANZ wont anywhere near sell out if you are at ground by say 5.30pm you will basically be able to talk to a human at Ticket sales and pick and choose

2. If you are prepared to pay top dollar $60 then 2nd level around bay 408 ish always have spots for sale ( top wing on the ticketek shite unclear map)

3. Ifyou want cheaper seat then forward flank (top right or bottom left of "map" ) is really pretty good. Find the bay numbers then ring Ticketek..if they are not engaged:o

4. Best bet is contact either Sydney Swans office and explain dilemna (give them a polite serve about fixing up arrangements with Ticketek:thumbsu:;))

OR Contact Geelong FC and see whether they can do something

There will be heaps of spare decent seats...... just that it is a bloody lottery booking online!

Your best option is NOT using the internet ticketing since it is a Best Available and doesn't give you a choice of seating. I believe your best option is going to one of the Ticketek agencies and the representatives should be able to set you up with seats on the wing.

Additional seating if only a sellout which I doubt and also take a look at the ANZ venue map on Ticketek.com.au which should clear up the member sections.

They try to sell out the higher sections first, which is why you see them full at the top but emptier at the bottom.

I've been fine with internet booking since I usually get what I want, but I got disabled seats for the Collingwood match, as did about 20 other people in the same aisle. Comp malfunction or something. Whatever, no tripping over feet or having to ask people to get up. Very convenient :)

They should be released in July on the net. I don't think there'd be a sellout so you'd be fine with internet bookings.

Thanks for all in the info much appreciated :thumbsu::thumbsu:

I think i'll just wait a few weeks and try again, otherwise i'll just buy the tickets at the ground when i get there, you're right it won't be a sellout.

FWIW i sat up in level 2 last year but thought it was a bit overpriced, that's why i don't want to sit in the same area again.

Cheers ;)
