Being that we always sit in the swans members area at ANZ stadium I was wondering where the home teams player race is (What bay or bays are around it)and how easy is it to get seats there for one of these free events like Saturday night is.

They may only open up one side of the ground given the crowd won't be huge. And if so, it will be the station side of the ground, which is the opposite side to the players' race.

In terms of getting a seat, it's free entry so they won't be selling specific seats. It will just be a case of turning up and sitting down. The crowd will be small enough that there shouldn't be much problem sitting anywhere you want on ground level, so long as it is open. (Pretty sure nowhere other than ground level will be accessible.)

I can't go this year because i'll be in Melbourne this weekend but last year was fun, if i was home in Sydney then i would have definitely gone again.

I'm planning on going! It would have to be after bannermaking on Saturday, so maybe I'll arrive with other Cheer Squaders early in the evening.

Would anyone know if parking is also free?

It won't be too hard. Its just at the main entrance.. entry through gates A, B, C, D and E.

Free parking and Homebush do not go together. Better off leaving the car at home and going on the train, it won't be too crowded on a saturday evening.

Yeah I was kidding. I think parking is always available but you have to pay. You could also park at Lidcombe and take the train over.

If it is not an extra transport event you can park on Olympic Boulevard where the extra event bus bay usually is. It is metered but only during business hours. So you can pretty much park right in front of the stadium.
