Does anyone know if this is sold out yet? I've been on Ticketmaster this morning trying to get seats, and it isn't finding me any! :mad:

I tried as a group of four, then two, then one, and it STILL can't find me a ticket.

Obviously I should have got in earlier, but surely this isn't 100% sold out yet is it?

Anyone know if it is, or if Ticketmaster are just ****ing *****?

Same thing happened to me yesterday. Tried in the morning to buy 4 and couldn't get any. Then tried again about 11am and got 4 tickets all together. They are shit seats though so will probably just stand on level one. For some reason they stagger the release of tickets. Very annoying but just keep trying and they will show up.
 
From what I've seen I would say that its already sold out. I went on it a week ago just to check what was left and all there was at that time was above LL on top level right behind goals. So I'm thinking you may be out of luck.

There's still tickets on Ticketmaster.

Mind you I can't buy mine until midnight tonight when I get paid. And if you take mine you will die.
 
The whole system in how tickets are released is a joke. The MCG release a bay in each stand from the bottom up and will not release a new bay till the previous bay is sold. To avoid this I buy anzac tickets the day they go on sale.

On a different note but still on tickets. I went on to ticketmaster yesterday to buy tix for the ess v saints game. After putting in the member barcodes I was told that there was'nt any tickets availiable. Strange I thought. So I refreshed again but this time just searched for general public tix without the memberships and lord behold level one seats came up. *** this I thought so I rang them. After sitting on hold for 13 minutes I spoke to a real person. I explained I wanted 4 tickets for the game using club support afl memberships. There was a problem with the request so she put back me on hold again for a further 6 minutes. She came back and said the following and I quote "At this point in time we are only selling tickets to the general public, all AFL and club members will have to wait until the public have a chance to buy tickets" I was in shock and asked her to repeat what she just said. I could'nt believe it. I asked for her superior and she put me back on hold again. After a while she came back and said her supervisor was'nt availiable and there was nothing anyone could do. I could not yell as I was at work . Later that arvo I logged back onto ticketmaster and I was able to buy 4 tickets on level 1 row A. I mean WTF!!!!

Sorry about the rant lads but it does your head in some times.

I have been online and on the phone and they've said they are currently sold out, unless the AFL release more tix, presumably AFL members or some crap if they don't get snapped up
 
They have had so so long to figure it out and they just plain refuse too, it's not that they can't make it easy it's they refuse to try because they are a monopoly. The AFL really should threaten to sell the rights.

Yesterday we went to get seats for ess geel game with our AFL memberships on the net. I knew level one would have sold out ages ago due to the fact we are only alocated 7 and a half isles on level one.

So we just tried to get level 3 and were gona stand it, says we can't use our memberships for level three only afl reserve at td which is wrong. They tried to make us pay general admission prices instead of just booking fee.

So i go to southland and they say to me ohh you can only do it your way if you personaly come to us not over the net if the afl members has sold out. I know this is to screw an extra 50 buks out of people! i hate them bastards.

sorry bit long and venting on years of frustration ever since afl members was no longer all walk up, first in best dressed on the day.

I was referring to the Geelong game, not ANZAC Day. Sorry about the confusion.

They're here for $79.00 per ticket plus $8.00 postage-

This is the buy it now price, so you can just get them assuming the seller delivers them to you.
These are behind the goals.
