But what if you did have a pram and were not a parent?I'm pretty sure they are for parents, not just Mums. But neither I suppose. Just a convenience offered by malls. You'd be kind of a dick to take them if you didn't have a pram though.

I park there anyway.
I welcome the dirty looks and eagerly await a confrontation with a random mother.
Out of interest, what would be your side of the argument?
Mum hauled me half a km to the shops back in the day and I turned out alright![]()

I guess I have to take your word for it![]()
Good points, the design of some modern car parks are decidedly poor and quite unsafe for pedestrians to be frank.Well you guys are lucky you never came across me when my boy was still in a pram...
Normally you find the pram spots in incredibly busy car parks with little space for pedestrians to walk around so you can imagine what it would feel like to navigate a pram whilst big arse 4WDs and P plater dicks speed up and down. Nothing to do with being lazy

No but everything to do with expecting entitlements
Haha, like it's some huge entitlement. They're not taking away your right to vote. Again, we're in a society people. A little consideration won't hurt you. It's simply something to make it safer for kids. Arguing against it is a little ridiculous.
Primary school I lived about 15km away, high school was about 42km away until my parents decided to move so it then became 21km. I always took the bus, primary school and half of high school I was 1st on and last off.I think we have become lazy over time, i walked to primary school (10 minutes or so taking traffic light crossings into consideration) and walked to the shops (maybe 30 minutes or so). I lived even closer to the high school i went to (literally a 2 minute drive.... 7 minute walk), yet i was driven and picked up 99% of the time.
You say entitlements, I say safety. It's probably best that we leave it at that.![]()
