For another 2 years...

:)

I really believe he will be a B&F winner (maybe as soon as next year), and we must do all we can to keep him a Demon for life!

Great news!

He and Thompson are the keys to the 2004 midfield resurrgence.

Absolutely essential that he signed.

If we could add some experience with the right trade our midfield could become very dangerous again very soon.

This is great news for arma and the club. There is no doubt he will be a great player and I believe that Danners has done the right thing with the amount of game time he plays up to now.

2004 is your year Arma!!

I do not understand the love for Armstrong. He could be a good player, but so far I don't think he's shown that much.
Well maybe you should watch him play.

I can see where Tim is coming from here. I like most of us, have a lot of time for our younger players. I reckon on this board we're very good at pumping up our youngsters, they need to be supported & encouraged.

However it should remain balanced, Armstrong is an exciting prospect but he'll need to keep improving & working on his game. He's no superstar yet.

Like I said, he needs a full preseason behind him...you do remember he was in Bali last year and came back in a wheelchair. He does need to bulk up a bit, in his good games he's shown that he's got skills on both sides, good tackler, and smart goalkicker. Once he's physically up to it, he'll be a very good midfielder for us...add in Bell, Thompson, Sylvia and Mclean and you've got yourself a very handy midfield for the next ten years.

As StingaArmstrong said... he didn't have a full Pre Season this year.

Remember that he was one of our best players in the 2002 Finals Series at 18 years of age!

He has shown that he is a good kick on either foot, quick, ball magnet and a very clever small forward.

why no official announcement from the club that he has re-signed.

All I have seen is rumour on the net. Nothing to say he has, and you would think the club would come out and at least release a statement that he had signed.

Last bit of news I read said they were hopeful but I don't think it had been done.
