LOL, he was going to use 'use your illusion' but some band had the rights to it. lol.

then he wanted Use Your Illusion II :o

I must admit, after a bit of a flat spot, Arrested Development has picked up its game as it closes out season two

God you guys are making me want to go right out and purchase Season II right now. Ive only seen a handful of season II and what you're discussing is having me in fits just cause I know!

Ive got to see GoB with his puppet, andf please, please tell me he still gets around on that wheely thing?

The actor who plays him (cant recall name atm) is a genius comic actor in the mould of Jason Alexander and Michael Richards.

How much is Season II retailing for?

GOB was actually in the Sopranos for a couple of episodes as an FBI agent, I was watching series 4 the other day. I did a double take like a mofo.

but I agree, GOB just makes me lose it, but all the characters are brilliant.

He was in the episode of Third Watch that was shown on Arena last thursday. He played a wheelchair bound drug dealer.

No doubt at all about that, but unfortunatley I will have to wait a fortnight. Will be easily worth the wait.... I reckon I must be close to wearing out my Season 1 discs:o

With this show having a drama series qualities in that it has twisting storylines and relies on continuity does the last season end with some sort of closure? If not that would suck, this is a kind of show where a movie to tie all the loose ends as far as the story lines go.
The show has very good acting, especially from Bateman and whoever plays Maeby and George-Michael. The way G-M's nervousness and awkwardness comes out is great. You rarely see young actors with that sort of comedy timing or whatever it is, I can't put my finger on it.

One of my fav Gob moments is when George Michael asks him if was ever awkward around girls and he goes on about a threesome he had. "No complaints....at least from the girl".

I've seen the last episode, it all ties up well.

Been watching the second season DVD this week. Brilliant stuff.

"Steve Holt is a bastard. He doesn't even know who is real father is."

Shame that the creator/show runner quit so even if it does get picked up it's not going to be the same. They've killed the spirit of someone who actually isn't doing the same old ********.

Last night ch7 showed the final episode of season 2.Next week they're going to go straight into season 3 :thumbsu:

Awesome episode to.

The narration is gold at times aswell.

Funniest part was when the floor collapsed and Maebe (sp?) and George Michael kissed, Gob walks in, dad will be crushed, a worried GM pleads not to tell his dad.

Cut to the narration and we are told Gob has hidden his dad under the house that just collapsed.

Just classic, you have to see it for the way Gob reacts.

still gold
Just picked up season 3 on DVD today and watched it 4 hours straight :)

Still good, but not as a good as for the first 2 seasons.

Quote of series 3 (in reference to being dumped by Fox) :

Michael : So what's going on with the fundraiser ?
George Sr : Well I don't think the Home Builders Organisation is going to support us.
Michael : Yeah, the HBO's not going to want us. What do we do now ?
George Sr : Well, I think it's Show Time. :D

Interesting choice of actress to play Michael Bluth's "prostitute sister" in series 3 ;)

Quite amazing to think AD is the first comedic role that Will Arnett (GOB) has ever done. Prior to that he always played dramatic characters.

I think the word you are looking for is delivery. And yes, I agree that his is brilliant.

Seconded to the Dice - also a good option are the online sites Ezydvd, DvdCrave as some examples.
