To be fair, they started dropping years ago. Taylor, Warne and Nicholas I don't mind but Healy, Slater and Lee are awful. Chappelli used to be the guy everyone complained about - the bar is so low now he's become something of an oracle.

Warney is so hit and miss in the commentary box. One minute he will be making astute strategic and technical observations, the next he is waffling on about pizzas or talking nonsense about the hi-jinks they used to get up to in his day. If he could stick to commentating the game he would be great to listen to. Just don't let him do any post-match interviews!

They should string him up to a car battery and any time he says anything not related to what's going on on-field, give him a zap. That'll straighten him out.

I thought Nicholas was an English Commentator in their Summer then came here to commentate the cricket in ours. So why is he doing our broadcast? Even though I do like him, just find it strange. Is he bigger here than there?

Saw him hosting a game show in the UK once. Do not rate.

It's crap that the commentary feed is from 9 and not Sky this year. Warney absolutely towelled up the uber-boring combo of Atherton, Hussain, Botham and Lloyd last time around. Some of the back and forth was classic. It was like they were all out on the field still.

His rampant barracking and un-hinged criticism of umpiring, DRS and the England team in general, made an otherwise disappointing series very enjoyable for mine.

Happy with Haddin out. CA have to look at a performing younger player who could fill the position long term over a fill in hack who has virtually filled in for the last 24 months because CA couldn't be arsed blooding new talent.

Our pace attack is capable of doing as much or more damage as theirs is so I don't think you could say it's doctored.

The last one was doctored to take away the advantage of our pace bowlers. This one sounds a lot more interesting.

Our pace attack is far better. Hazlewood is a gun, Starc is a gun, Mitchell is just a scary arse monster and well Anderson is out of form, Broad is bowling well and Wood is hit and miss. Their batters are horribly out of touch as well and they will not want to bat one bit.
