ah. i think you're missing the point here, sabre. The AFL is alot quicker than the WAFL. So players have to run more, react quicker, and sprint faster.

This is about fitness, not size. Yes there may be monsters in the WAFL, but they are lumbering ones.

When Collard can run out a game, he'll be in the side. Otherwise when he is selected, he'll be warming the bench and used in bursts, and everyone will complain and ask why he isnt being given a proper go of extended football.

and we dont want that, do we/

:D

Hit the nail right on the head there lint. :thumbsu:

(So hard it made me chuckle... ;) )

He will get injured soon just wait and see.
Just like Ryley Dunn, they waited a week to long before they brought him in and he got injured before he got the chance.

The logic in that statement is laughable. By that logic should Brett Peake have been dropped after the Port match because he got injured the next game? I bet the Saints are upset they picked Goddard this week when they clearly should have dropped him to avoid the season ending knee injury.

I heard somewhere they where giving him a fitness test on the wednesday so he obviously didn't pass but since then they said he is close. When you look at how much running a small forward does he will have to be pretty fit.

I knew we should have ordered that crystal ball....
