Do some research before posting in future. It's called topsoil. A common technique in horticulture at this time of year.
My team of researchers have just got back from the lab and assure me that it's called top dressing.

And what is there?
Well there is definitely a high school. Or at least there was back in 1985, I was in year 9 and spent half a year there after my folks moved there from Melbourne. Was what it was but I don't have too many memories other than the P.E teacher (called it phys ed over there then) was a sailor from the Americas cup Australia 2 yacht.
Was a pretty good bloke but I don't remember too much else other than my first day of school there and a group of all related kids pelting rocks and broken bricks at me.
Welcome to Perth!

Was at training. A lot of new faces.
Hard to put a name to who was who, running around on the sandy Arden street pitch. In about 30C.
Only recognised Thompson who was not in the internal practice match but on a bike on the terrace the whole time.
Saw Cunnington completely dump Thomas in a ferocious tackle. Then they had bit of a scrape.

That's the best i can recall him speaking since he was first appointed skipper. Looks and sounds relaxed; minimal "umms" and "y-knows". Good on him.
The captain position didn't suit his personality.

So I was looking through the Spitta interview clip and this bit of training footage jumped out at me, looked like the boys are practising centre square setups so 3 mids and a ruck to each side, and the teams appear to be Preuss, Swallow, Cunners and Atley vs Goldy, Ziebs, Dec and someone who remains out of frame. Might be reading too much into this, but could it potentially signal Ats finally being trialled as a genuine inside mid? Let's hope so, we desperately need someone who can take on the Wellsy role as that linebreaking inside player.

This goes against everything I love about Big Footy.

I come on here to ask ill-considered questions to which I expect ill-considered answers that help me to quickly form ill-considered opinions I will share with workmates at an ill-considered time.

I like it that way.

PS No research whatsoever was done in the formation of this post.
