Federer/Fish final, Fish got in the final from a complete meltdown from Roddick after being 6-4, 5-2 up, don't know what happened, went back to sleep after the first rain delay but its interesting now Fish is kind of becoming mentally strong.

Federer was solid tonight, rushing the net quite a bit again but it seemed like Baghdatis had run out of gas.

Give Fish a big shot tomorrow morning. This has been my best bracket out of all the masters series so far. Ranked 34th for this tournament through picking Fed and Fish to make the final. Will never be ranked this high again lol.

Fish will be an outsider to do something at the US Open, although with his game it confuses how his forehand can be so much weaker than his backhand, it's bizarre, not only is that forehand less consisent than the backhand but he can't really hit many winners of it all. He would be a top player if he could get that on.

Well Done to Federer, great performance, he's playing solid tennis at the moment, didn't think he would be able to pick up 1600 points out of these two events but now you would have to consider him favourite for the US Open now

he avoided having to play nadal, djokovic and murray, yes he had a good win but to me it still makes him behind the other guys. He is not winning matches the way he used to and alot of the players are getting a look in against him. Berdych should have beaten him the other week.

Nadal has seemed to hit his hardcourt swing form again like he does every year, have to go with Federer as the proven guy at New York, no matter what Nadal he just can't get right for the hardcourt swing.

Djokovic is not even worth a mention, tell me when he beats someone decent, the amount of hilariosuly easy draws he has had this year astounds me. A joke to consider him ahead of Federer

Murray maybe, his tennis in tornto was good, but he has a habit of bending over when it comes to Federer in the slams, so have to side with Federer at the moment with Murray not too far behind.

And why didn't he get to play Nadal? Because Nadal wasn't good enough to reach him. Same thing happens every year at this stage of the season. The H2H between the two would look a whole lot different if Nadal could actually make finals in tournaments like Cincinnati, just as Federer has done throughout his career on clay (to his detriment).
