That was a random link to some weird wiki article about a silly software program. it sounds like this may be a footy game or sommat like that..... Hmmm.....
I'm confused... And why would u post this here?
U could do that somewhere else, not on the Geelong page!
 
Yeh, if someone has an invite for me I'll be forever in your debt. Been trying to get on Aussie Torrents for yrs.

Aussie torrents is just a place that you can upload/download files. In your case media files. It is based on that silly bit torrent software program that you don't understand which the link refers to...sorry I should have explained it.

I posted it because someone asked what a torrent is. Well that is what is it. A silly computer program that allows people to share files.:o

I've also found that they upload games to mininova.org as well, though they may be transitioning away from that site for this year. I don't have any invites for aussietorrents either but you don't need one if you know where to look for the torrents. Demonoid does need an invite, however, and I think those are more readily available.

Aussietorrents.com doesn't hold the torrents themselves, as mentioned elsewhere they are usually on other sites. Aussietorrent's sister site diwana.org, does hold torrents but the AFL heavies ensured that AFL is not on the menu.

****sticks. They'd wanna get their bloody service working first before they go after sites that offer services that actually function properly.

because of recent pressure invites are hard to come by. The rule of thumb is to only give one to those you personally know rather than openly on public forums.

I will work to "post" the actual torrent file each week. How does that sound?

Good, but unfortunately BF really can't allow a link to be posted directly to the file, people will have to work it out for themselves.
 
If scotty becomes too bombarded with PMs I'll be happy to act as his second-in-command ;)

Perhaps interested people can post in this thread and there might be some way to mass-PM or some such. Or after every game interested people can PM scotty or I and we'll get in touch with you. Whatever works.
 
Hey Everyone,

Not sure if this is allowed but I am not posting the actual torrent link so dont think it will be a issue.

If you go to http://torrentscan.com/ and type in geelong on the left hand side search tab then click on the demonoid option it will come up with the game listings.. then just choose Geelong vs Port Adelaide file to download.... I am not registered on demonoid but I had no trouble downloading the file...
