Austin

He did get reported, and it was most likely in that scuffle during the 1st Quarter. Whether or not he'll miss any weeks, well that's upto the MRP, as I didn't see it

Mark Austin's report has been thrown out.

Source: Chan 10 news.

Edit: Well the AFL website says he's got a week with an early plea =\

Just to clarify things

Austin's report for striking Nick Suban was thrown out, his suspension is for his strike on that little shit Ballantyne

Did Austin drop to his knees to hit that shirt lifter?

What a crock.

Austin should have headbutted him to really earn the two weeks.

The Brennan charge was reduced to one week because of "good behaviour".

Classic post:D

Time for Hartlett to show us why he has been on our list so long, time to rip one through the tigers Harts.

Well, we've accepted the one match ban

I'm not so sure that the obvious replacement for Steve is necessarily big Adam Hartlett.

IMO, the thing that makes him such a useful defender is the combination of his height and his pace.

With Morton and Riewoldt i think Thornton can take one and the other can probably be taken by Banno, who is tall enough but who is also quicker than Hartlett.

I'd still like to see Harts get a go, but i'm just thinking that the MC might see Banno as a better match-up, given that Harts' extra height over Banno won't be critical given richmond's forwards.

Johnson can play relatively tall. Don't need to bring in another key defender. Richmond are... ordinary at best, especially in their forward line. Joseph on Nahas(their most dangerous small forward) and Jamo on Morton (their most dangerous tall) and they'll have no goals... Thornton can take reiwoldt..

I heard they rotated Post and another player (maybe it was Riewoldt) in the other "tall" position from fwd to back last week.

Jamison is very versatile and could play tall or small.:thumbsu:

Agree that with Bower, Waite and Austin all out, if Harts doesn't get looked at this week we could put a line through his name for 2010.
