No doubt. How many ODI's are played there a year though?

Really shows how shit our top order has become ehh. We never used to need out lower order to bail us out as often.

Smith is a Clarke wannabe ;)

Absurd batting performance to almost lose that after we were cruising for most of the run chase.

Watson and Finch batted beautifully and Smith struggled to a nice score which should have seen us get home quite comfortably but then Bailey, Wade and Maxwell all try to be the hero and put themselves before the team.

Very lucky that selfish attitude didn't cost us in the end.

Steve Smith very deservedly named Man of the Series. Had an absolutely superb series despite ridiculously not featuring in the first match and he continues to blossom into a world class cricketer. Will be our next captain without a shadow of a doubt.
 
Smitty man of the series after missing a match. Too good. Go Smitty.
 
Bit harsh I would have thought. Very unconventional player. He is clearly not always going to pay off but more than happy to have him part of World Cup squad when it gets serious in March.
 
Maxwell is a gun and a real match-winner particularly in both of the shorter forms of the game.

Can absolutely turn a match on it's head in a very short period of time with a lethal combination of power hitting and beautiful placement.

However quite clearly he's down on both form and confidence at the moment and his game has taken a massive hit because of it. Needs to be a bit smarter and work his way out of it.

Crucial player in our bid to win the World Cup early next year and needs to turn his fortunes around before then.

Maxwell is a flog of the highest order. Bailey is just plain incompetent. Wade shouldn't be in that side, absurd dismissal. I cannot wait for Haddin to get back.

Somebody always have to be number 1, even in eras where there is not really great sides.
There is no really strong international cricket sides right now. It is why the rankings can change so regularly.
Any side of top 7 cricket nations should give themselves a chance of winning World Cup in March.
I would not bet on any side or write off any side.

Some side will earn the title though, by time the World Cup tournament is over.

I reckon it might simply be a choice between Clarke and Mitch Marsh depending on fitness.
 
Can't believe Marsh has jumped Faulkner in the queue. Faulkner would step over his own mother to win a game of Uno.
