Hope I'm not breaching any site rules, by mentioning this, but I'm selling the current ODI shirt on Ebay for half price what is the RRP ($130) in stores, authentic Adidas too. http://search.ebay.com.au/_W0QQsassZcammo86

Anyway, in the meantime - any thoughts on the Aussie ODI shirt? It's certainly shitloads better than the crass 20/20 one.

Which do you reckon was the best design? And why? I personally liked the early 90's Benson and Hedges one with the lightning bolt type design.

Here's a pretty bad one - the lemon didn't work.
But the thing Tugga is holding makes up for it.

This one is by far the worst.

Here is the best i reckon i've seen.

and this one wins of course!!!

I would like to see a return of the gold/green rather then green/gold.

The problem with the T20 is the grey, if they made that green I think it would be pretty good.

Our current home ODi uniform is a joke. Australian one day teams have worn the Aussie Gold forever and a day, and not seeing it is just rubbish. How many of our national sporting teams where a predominantly green uniform for home games? Wallabies no, Socceroos no, Hockeyroos no, Netballers no.

The current one is a good design i reckon, but the uniforms you buy in the shop are crap. I got mine for 2006 Christmas and now the it is basically just a green shirt as all the labels and stripes and shit has peeled off.

Personally, i'd get a different design, one that doesn't have all the labels and crap that can peel off.

The one we wore in the 2003/04 season goes alright though, got it in late 2003 and is still as good as new. Fila make it and it is tops.

The current adidas one looks awesome but the quality is pretty poor in that the labels and stuff peel off pretty easily.

the 1985-88 top is the best and they should bring it back. The 07 WC was good as well. It looks similar to the 85-88 top.

It's probably because it's the first ODI tournament I really remember but I love the '92 World Cup one.

Its a peice of crap - the one you buy in the shops.

Looks great, but peels and if you wash it it just peels even more.

Waste of 120 bucks....

But is the best looking ODI jersey ever IMO.

Yeah agree totally on all acounts. But as i said, i'd only buy future uniforms that have the design inbuilt into the fabric not just lables that you can peel off with your hand after 6 months to a year. At least the sponsor labels should be built in, if i wore my shirt people wouldnt know who i was supporting, its just all but plain green, its only good for fitness runs or something like that, the sweat pours out of you but it keeps you cool.

Good work with the history of the shirts, just need the current away top and the world cup as well and the set is complete:thumbsu:

I don't mind the bottle green, but the quality of the shirt compared to last one they had is ridiculous. I hand wash mine to make sure the transfers and everything stay on. Worked so far and it is 15 months old.

I hope when South Africa come here next summer they wear their away top against them. it will be silly if both teams are wearing the same uniform.

'79 - '88 are far and away the best.

As for the current one, I really like it, probably the best since the above mentioned.
