I like Demon, will never be a superstar but a handy player

ADM is a perfect #2 for a country like Australia.

Consistent around #25 in the world and capable of upsetting others higher than him on his day.

If we had Kyrgios as a reliable #1 we would be even more competitive at events like Davis Cup (even though we made the final last year without Nick) and in the United Cup (even though we made the Fed Cup final without our star Ash).

Imagine the inaugural United Cup in Sydney where Australia's team included:

Kyrgios, de Minaur, Kubler, Peers
Barty, Tomjlanovic, Hunter, Stosur

Could certainly have been winners.

I am watching the Rune match and I don’t get all the Rune hype in this thread.

De Minaur more likely to trouble Djokovic than Rune imo.

Beat Novak last year. He’s a much better player than Di Minaur. Want Rublev to beat him

By your own logic, Rune beat Rublev last year too so he will probably win that one too.

Anyway, I wasn’t really impressed with his match today. Thought De Minaur looked really good in comparison but that may be because he has had an easy run?

Pretty much Di Minaur has had the dream draw. I think Rune does beat Rublev I just hope I’m wrong as Rublev is a better matchup for Novak

Shame that Nick is injured with all these top seeds going out would back him to get to the final

Playing 7 matches over 5 sets is a push he got a walkover at Wimbledon which helped
