Following from the loss to the Bombers, lets keep all discussion in here regarding rants and so forth so we do not have 10 individual threads that are all rants.

My Rant is the lack of intensity and it really showed. Injuries did not help our cause as well as the set shot goal kicking and we need to improve these areas if we are to beat Freo next week over there.

Whatever the case we need to learn from today, hopefully it will be a positive in the long term.
We won't really know how good we really are until after mid way of the season.

I wasn't overly impressed with Lucas. but the biggest problem today was our Rucks , they got dominated and not to far behind that was our entrance inside 50. we needed to keep some numbers behind the play as well. bombers scored way to easily from turn overs. next week I think we will come out and be fine!

Missed Carrazzo a lot. His absence should show just how integral he is to our set up.
Bower is an average footballer and an average decision maker.
Tuohy having a piece in The Age cost him.
Garlett played??
McLean is a very good VFL player and just an average AFL player.
Waite needs delivery that isn't at his ankles.

3 things that stood out today about players playing.
1. we only have 1 defensive mid- Carrazzo. when he went down there was no 1 to turn to do do a lock down role oon watson and monfries. Our midfield paid no respect to essendon. I thought tuohy could have been moved to stanton & gibbs to watson.
2. As good as mclean has been and he deserves selection dont replace 1 of your 3 quickest players with the slowest guy on the list. We've heard all week how we r building a premiership on pace and this is 1 of the places we were found out today.
3. Warnock will be back next week, really lacked a genuine Tap ruckman. thought Kreuze tried hard, looked tired but with a big task next week.

further more im happy to persist with Mclean but only if Curnow is dropped. Only 1 can play. The things with these guys is they are slow, but they arent genuine inside clearance machines. Not creative at all by hand or foot like a sam mitchell or Jobe Watson. They are basically really slow outside mids.

Crameri and Essendon as a whole did not do anything out of the ordinary, all they had to do was wait for us to turn it over or kick it straight to them. I can not believe how many times we kicked it straight to them and how many passes we kicked that got intercepted.

They missed as many shots as we did, the umps got decisions wrong for both sides. We just simply sucked and did not resemble the way we played Rd1,2&3

Bring in Walker and T-bird. Or Ellard. Those two guys are too slow, both in decision making, and movement.
