Average Age

Hi
I was wondering if anyone can tell me what the average age is for every side in the comp,
I heard during the pre-season that the crows had the second youngest side of all the teams and I was a little surprised.
i just wanna know if that was right or not.
i live in WA so if it was true then I can laugh in the face of many a docker supporter when they say that they are GONNA be soooo good because they have a young list.

The total age is 1026 and if you divide that by the 44 players we have the average age of 23.3 If you take out the four rookies the total is 948 and the average age jumps to 23.7. If you take out Smart and Bicks (veterans list players) the toal is 882 (with out rookies) and the average age is 23.2 but if you add the rookies the total is 960 with the average age being 22.8.

Gosh now I tired! Better have a rest before the big night tonight!

Average age for Port (as at 1/1/02):
Using all 44 on list - 22.8
Using non rookies - 23.2
Non rookie or Veteran - 22.8
Not veterans - 22.4
Now it is time for a Beer!

You work it out big fella. See if you get a different answer, maybe my calculator went haywire as i too doubt that we are a younger list than most. Bear in mind the date of which i worked the ages and the fact i was pretty buggered by the time i did it, mistakes can be made by me, although it is a very rare occurrence.

Third Youngest

Well after all the calculating (Thanks guys) there was an article on the net in the advertiser saying we have the third youngest list, thats still good news, carn the crows.

Going to Football Park as an opposition supporter surely means it is you who is the moron!

If you don't want people to razz you, don't go!

If you don't mind people razzing you in exactly the same way as a Crows supporter used to be razzed at Victoria Park, then by all means come along. But please get it through your thick skull that Footy Park is crows territory and the crowd only gives as good as it gets from other crowds elsewhere.

I was having a go at you not being able to spell Collingwood and you ever been to Victoria Park, Moorabin, Windy Hill etc? Far worse than Football Park as an opposition supporter.

You would have a hell of a lot more credibility in trying to make your point if you could spell "feral".

There is no such word as Ferrile. Since you obviously don't know much about the word itself one would have to assume that you don't know what it actually means.

The word you apparently intend is "feral". It means literally "Wild and menacing". A synonym is "savage".

Those attributes in themselves are not necessarily such undesirable characteristics in footy fans cheering for their team. If you thought you were trying to say "unsophisticated" or something similar instead (as I suspect you were) then not only have you used the wrong word, and mispelt it into the bargain, but you have at the same time managed to show yourself as more unsophisticated than those at whom you level the accusation.

You compound your myriad errors by publishing your obvious stupidity on a forum which is nominated as being "A board for fans of the Adelaide Crows", which clearly you are not.

Go away and come back when you have grown a brain, and can work out what you are supposed to be doing, and how you should go about doing it, and where.
