I like that, but I think the magpie needs to be changed a little bit, make it slightly more graphically appealing and a little more dynamic. Looks pretty 'bleh' to me, but I'm always a critic

My strong preference would be to retain the status quo, but if the AFL turned around and insisted, something along the lines of what you've come up with there would look decent IMHO. Agree that maybe the magpie needs a little extra zing, but we don't want it looking like the effort that Bucks famously wore in a NAB Cup game or whatnot, that was the worst Pies jumper I've ever seen.

I think the issue is that it looks too "blackened"... as where the white outline was, black's been added, dulling and thickening the image. Maybe if you had a black outline of the white outline it'd look a bit sharper?

Or possibly more stupid.... I don't really know.

Yeah the bird needs to be white with black markings to look like an inverse of the 1st design.

I don't think that'd work... to be honest.

Like I said, I think keeping the bird as it is on the black jumper, including the white outline, and putting a black outline around that might work best. Although it may also just look stupid... my skills in photoshopping etc. are negligible so I can't really state with any certanty one way or the other.

I tried that and it just looked silly for the sake of being a true inversion.

I actually had an idea for a jumper that featured a traditional 'shield' or coat of arms-style logo in the centre of the chest. I might actually see how that looks...

Haha, here's my idea for the shield version:

Sticking very close to our coat of arms. Very traditional. Not a huge change, but it is a change.
