Away Jumper

I know the black and white stripes should be proudly worn in Melbourne games..

But in away games i would like to see a more creative, modernized, yet refined Magpie Kit. I'm not saying ruin the logo. I am saying how about a magpie of some kind intricately and creatively worked onto a jersey. Not a paddle pop magpies, but a magpie which looks classy and 2010.

I like the way the Hawks, Crows and West coast have gone with their birds on the jumper with a white background.

There is no problem with the away jumper we use at the moment IMO.

This is pretty radical, but I think we should swap the white stripes with black ones & put white ones where the black ones used to be.

We should also have one game where every player must wear long sleeves - a whole team wearing them would look fantastic - more black and white the better, although Beams & Swan would be shattered that their tatts would be hidden. This game would honour all the long sleeve wearers of the past like Scotty Burns, Tony Shaw and Ron McKeon!

Do you not understand the concept behind inveting the stripes... it makes a new jumper. Carlton's clash is basically and inverted jumper, too.

Agree, I thought this one looked pretty good. If for some reason the AFL decides that our clash jumper is suddenly inadequate, and we have to come up with a new version, I'd strongly consider the jumper above with black stripes on a white background. I don't know if the photoshoppers here could come up with a representation of that, it would be interesting to have a look at.

Secondly, it simply does not matter what you reckon because you are not a Collingwood supporter;
Thirdly, Collingwood wear black and whites stripes;
Fourthly, everyone else does it is not a reason to do anything.
