Whilst the result was dissapointing it was great to be back at the football. I do love the Gabba as a footy avenue. A few things stood out.

1- lots of families. Loved it. This is a double edged sword for me, whilst i do not use bad language i am a loud barracker and fairly aggressive in Tone, which tends to frighten kids, but it was great to see them there.

2- a MILF in a 2012 heritage jumper. Possibly the sexiest thing i've seen at a football game.

3- loved the lifesize team photo inside gate two, lots of people getting their photo taken.

What was good and bad for you guys?

Nb- think i saw kezz, she looked harrassed and on her way to complain about something so i didn't say hi.

LOL, I wouldn't have eaten you (unless you're made out of chocolate, in which case tough luck). If it was before the game on orders from my mother (whom I will never listen to again) I had just driven from Coorparoo to Yeronga then taken the train to Buranda and walked to the Gabba from there. I was a tad bit flustered but someone saying hi would have probably cheered me up.

Next time hang the cost, I'm staying at my old haunt the Kangaroo Motel. I never want to drive two hours in the rain and dark after a loss again. And it's only a 10-minute walk to the Gabba...and they have a cute little dog there :) (I love family-run establishments!).

Must say I enjoyed the 3.40pm start.

Also noticed a lot of families and 2012 heritage jumpers as well.

Crowd looked like 18k but sounded like 25k IMO. 21k was more than I expected.

I was very impressed with it all actually.

The Club is certainly going all out to entertain and well done to them.:thumbsu:

The outside entertainment, plus all the promotional stuff inside.

The crowd was great and very vocal.

Just couldnt get the win though.:(

Loved hearing 'Welcome to the Jungle' at the start of the game. Could have played it louder and at the beginning of each quarter too! Crowd can make a lot of noise when it wants to as well. Beer prices went up though!
