IMO Day is a better target and a better ruck than O the way they have played this season, fingers crossed O turns it around.

Doesn't seem like there will be a Beecken debut judging by the lack of announcement this afternoon.

Not sure what Beeken needs to do more of to get a gig. Disappointed for him but I trust the coaching group to make the right decision based on a lot more than any of us will ever know.

I doubt Fletcher plays wing in the setup team posted.

The ins of Reville and Marshall are wings/forwards at AFL level.
The only other player remotely able to play defense from the bench is Ah-Chee.
I doubt they upset our forward structure and move Ah-Chee with Bailey out this week.

Maybe Beecken needs to play other positions in the VFL to help his cause.
OOC this year so tough when you have Coleman, Doedee, Brain also in the VFL
I also believe a lot of midfielders/wingers can play the modern half back role.
In recent years even high draft picks slot into that role quite well.
