Only two weeks ago this was a foregone conclusion, all over, you would get less than a dollar as the odds for Darling.
Many, many thanks to the King of the Floppers in Big Bad Benny for adding drama to this award. When your own side won't play finals, you need something to keep your interest piqued, and this season has just got a whole lot more interesting (even considering our own almost perpetual nominations).

It feels a bit harsh to nominate someone after what was our best performance for the year, despite the loss considering the opposition competing for the minor premiership and it's on their home deck, but Jackson Callow is learning there is a huge gulf between the VFL and the top flight. Missed an absolute sitter he should have nailed at a time when it would have kept the momentum with us.
