Just a question Saints Boarders ,

How confident are you of holding Ball. He has family history with the Hawks , his brother plays at the Hawks and he doesnt want to resign mid season?
If he walks at seasons end and go's into the "out of contract" draft the Hawks would get him for bugger all.

As a supporter of another team that has a bit of bit youthful talent I'd hate to see anybody take one and not at least get somehting back, the system is wrong in that reguard.

Anyway , will he stay?

yes he will stay.
the kid is just focussing on his footy. it makes sense to me.

he is obviously very happy at the club - why would he go to the hawks who are at least 5 years off in terms of form, passed up on him for hodge in the draft etc etc.

he'll stay.

I understand Balls decision to wait until the end of the year.
Hawthorn realistically have no chance of luring a player from a top 4 club to a wooden spooner, despite the "history" he has with the club.

Ball will stay.
