Ball out?

There's a rumour floating around that Ball is going to be rested. Does anyone have any info on it that is from a reliable source or that has credibility?

surely the wouldnt just simply "rest" him in such a big game being skipper and in conditions that will suit him perfectly

It's more than a rumour.
He flew out with the squad, but was in doubt to play.

The only emergency we took with us was Jason Blake.

I would say that it was hoped that Luke will play, but they are strongly considering giving him a rest.

If they do "rest" him, they wont announce it until late (in case there is a need for our one emergency to replace some other player).

Why if they were thinking of resting him, did they only bring over Jason Blake. What would happened if someone else pulled out late? And to add to that Blake isn't exactly the type of player to replace Ball.
