Newcastle are already unlikely to win the league because of there poor start. It would take an extrodinary effort to catch teams of Man yoo, Chelsea and Arsenal quality who are unlikely to drop too many points during the season.

Chelsea.

Last year, Chelsea started the Premier League in fine fashion, entering Christmas is second position, just two points behind Arsenal. This year, however, Chelsea already looks to be the front runner, and should find itself in a similar position come 2003 Christmas.

The thing is, though, CR has more quality players that he can rest, and save them for the second half of the season. Whereas, last year, CR fielded a fairly similar side week after week.

More quality players = fresher legs = won't tire as quickly.

Chelsea hasn’t even played super impressive football as yet. Chelsea will only get better when the new signings begin to gel together.

CR stated the he still believes Veron is the world’s best midfielder, but he has hardly had any game time. Maybe this is one of the players CR will use a lot more come the second half of the season.

Man. United and Arsenal will closely follow behind in 2nd and 3rd respectively.

As for the fourth and final Champions League spot, I think it will be battled out between Liverpool and Fulham.

So much for my prediction at the start of the year that Fulham will struggle to stay alive in the Premier League.

the main obstacle for chealsea is ranieri's tinkering with formation etc. and players getting frustrated by being rotated.

man u, arsenal and chelsea all have a very good chance of winning. the rest have no chance.

You been drinking my friend??? I think Liverpool will still get it and I wouldn't discount Newcastle getting back up there

As for the top 3
1. Man U
2. Arsenal
3. Chelsea

However I hope Chelsea win it, it's something different

same here. I reckon most people (probably except their supporters) are sick of Arsenal and Man Utd's dominance...

1. Chelsea
2. Man Utd

Did you want to make a bet?

Fulham will finish top six. Either accept this bet or decline it. If you confirm, I'm sure we can strike a little deal (for our bet).

Sure, don't see what sort of a bet you can have with someone you don't know though
