That'll be Brendan Murphy. White to fullback, Grundy to fullforward for moi.

Murphy is an interesting one, reckon he was the 'steak knives' bonus. Not recruited through standard route and a punt that looks to be rewarding at this early stage. It is early though, kennelly's dont come along every day.

he is in the mix CHB CHF for me, all depends on his development

JW CHB/Mid/CHF
Murphy CHF/CHB
Grundy FB

IMHO

J-Dub's leap would be best utilised at either end of the ground. That coupled with his mobility would make him a perfect fullback, rebounding off the defensive 50 a la Matthew Scarlett.

Grundy, from what I've seen, doesn't seem to be able to hold down the fullback spot. Too slow off the mark. His strong hands and low centre-of-balance make him an ideal full forward.

Now, Murphy. I agree he could make an excellent CHF/CHB (and judging from his reserves games, that's where the club seem to be grooming him for). However, from they way I've seen him move, he definitely has the capability to run around in the midfield. He has an above average aerobic capacity, and moves well across the ground. The only downer at the moment is his kicking, but that will improve over time. In any case, a very exciting prospect in the years to come.

All fair, will be interesting to see how it all pans out.

Despite what some think, LRT will be a big part of our defence for a good few years to come, so he is in the mix also.

IMHO Grundy is not destined for a role in the forward line. IMO he is being groomed as long term replacement for Leo at FB.

Grundy's got a long way to go then. Horrible in defence last season with the seniors, though I don't have much to say on his defensive form in the ressies. I shall keep an eye out for him consistently from now on.
