No Baja.................I don't hate Bazza. I love the way he went about it when he played for the team & adhered to the team ethos.
My patience with him wore thin after he gave away 3 critical 50's in a row against Hawthorn at the MCG one day just when we had all the momentum to kill off any chance of winning.
It flew in the face of what his team mates were trying to achieve. He lost me that day & I knew it was the beginning of the end for him at the Swans.

I don't hate Bazza. I really enjoy listening to him comment on anything football...........................anything but the Swans!

Tedeski, seems you are down on Bazza for holding a grudge, but thats what you are doing also.

I have no doubt he loved his time at the Swans. I loved him playing for us, and have no doubt, we won many more games because of him that what we lost.

For those of you asking why he captained the side on GF day, I think you'll find he simply got lucky due to the order of rotation.

Just backing Roosy who has done more for the Swans than Hall ever did!.

Just watched the full interview. He's obviously still disappointed with how Roos handled things but it wasn't a case of "Yeah, I did the wrong thing, but...". It actually sounded like at the time he just wanted to part ways with the club and the coaching staff on better terms than what he did. I don't think he was expecting a call with Roosy would patch things up and make everything better.

The one thing I took away from it was just how much pressure the guy put himself under at the Swans. I can kind of understand why he enjoyed his 2 years at the dogs more than any of his years with us. Then again maybe if he'd been a little more open with the club about the pressure he was under things wouldn't have erupted the way they did.

Still hard not to be bitter towards him, but his honesty and sincerity made the interview great viewing.

Sydney and the Bulldogs were two totally different teams. Sydney were successful, and I believe Bazza placed a huge amount of pressure on himself to be a successful forward for us. Winning or losing a game could mean the difference of playing off in the finals from 8th position or 3rd. He was surrounded by quality players, players who depended on and trusted each other. Whereas the bulldogs were never going to be playing finals, they were building. Nowhere near the same pressure.

We played them in the Finals in 2010 when he ripped us apart... they were a Top 4 team while he was there.

Yeah nah, not sure that's entirely convincing.

He left footy, not just the Swans, saying quite clearly he had to get out before he did serious harm to another player. That's a pretty strong statement to make.

If the pressure was so extraordinary at the Swans (whether external, or self-inflicted) you'd think that would be the first thing he'd mention when curiously, he became mentally healthy enough to sign with the Dogs after a very short sabbatical.

But it seems no-one called on him to explain his dramatic turnaround when he announced his signing.

Maybe we'll never know, but I think it deserves an explanation.

Yeah I was at that game. We were the better team most of the night, but his presence and finishing was the difference in the end. Pretty bitter experience considering how many Swan legend's were having their last game that night...
