For what it's worth, even though I agree we need to keep things as simple as possible, I think we need to expand our repertoire of player specific songs
"We love you x, we do..." gets used for about 12 different players.

Since everyone's getting on the Gill Train he can have the Locomotion. For what it's worth, even though I agree we need to keep things as simple as possible, I think we need to expand our repertoire of player specific songs

Can both be done people?
If you'd like, I'm willing to become your doppelganger for the weekend and go to the match in your place. That way you can make both events at the same time (sorta). I have a voucher for a costume shop and am very good at imitating accents.
im with Kitch. Here is an idea, you make a banner and come join bay 114.
Why not just go to the ceremony and then the game?and the story grows. Get this.
I was at work today talking to the lads about how I am going to miss the game when I get a call on my mobile phone. I look at the phone and it says Adelaide Football Club.I thought that's interesting. I answered the call which I shouldn't have as I was in training for a new product.
I was then asked if I was going to the game on the weekend. I said, well I have a wedding but things could be worked out.I was then told that I have been selected as I have used my tickets to every game this year and to meet on the ground after the game to shake the players hands and receive a match worn guernsey from one of the players.
I immediately then said yes I can make it.
What should I do?
Is this a no brainer?
Ceremony at 2.30pm
Have to meet with the club at 6.10pm to get a run down.
Game starts at 7.10pm.
Reception starts at 6.30pm in Glenelg.
Reception meal at 8.00pm.
Speeches at around 9.00pm.
Match would finish at about 10pm so be back for the game for atleast last quarter at around 9.20pm.

We need more banners / voices.
I could probably have my arm twisted for some banner making - I think the "Thank Roo" one could be a possibility of getting made. Or we just make one big one that says Rooooooooooo![]()
We could become synonymous with massive train banners. That'd be sweet; make it massive so it takes up the who row and we all have to hold it.
A lot of effort, but that would be an awesome way of drawing attention to the group and perhaps getting a bit of notoriety. We could become synonymous with massive train banners.
Have one each week that we chuck up at half time with an intelligent slogan on it.

Pfft, a Gill banner still owns all.
