WTF is with people in the media and their love of Manou???? I heard KG and Cornsey talk about him yesterday in particular KG and KG said you gotta keep Manou and have Deitz in as a batsman. Why the hell does Manou deserve to be in that side?
Why is it when somebody rings up and bags manou he always gets defended.
It's like everybody thinks he is this awesome keeper....when to be honest is he really any better than deitz in that department?
My bet is that Manou will again keep his spot and deitz will play as a batsman...

Manou is a waste of space at the moment. Dietz as a keeper bastmen gives us the option to play na all rounder which can increase our bowling options. This will be especially important for home games when we will be playing both Bailey and Cullen in the same side.

I also get the feeling Manou will play as a keeper and Deitz a specialist batsman.

Manou is the better gloveman, but he is not so much better that his inclusion would change the game. As you said we are limiting our bowling stocks playing both of them.

I cannot understand the love for manou from the SACA selectors. They have exiled a SA cricketing great in Blewett after having a rough trot but keep giving Manou chance after chance after giving us nothing.

Yes that is so, but that team is comprised of players who didnt get selected for their state teams this weekend - given that most of the Aussie boys will be playing for their respective states, it means there are some biggish names playing the chairmans XI game.
