we have cut a lot of shithouse players from the team, and hopefully a few more.

But apart from Elliot who else have we brought in since his arrival ?

They haven't actually cut anyone. Maybe you could count Blewett as one who retired/was sacked. Other than that Trent Kelly was the only change to our playing list from last season - he is now playing for WA. Oh, and they turfed one of the rookies. That's it.

I've got the perfect solution to solving the SACA crisis.

Get 12 people off the street the morning of a match to play. At least they'd be competitive.

Thats a damn fine idea I reckon. Just a way to get a few people to actually go to the Pura Cup game. Also, sounds like Dizzy might be close to pulling the pin, either that or Marsh is forcing him out.

Posted this in the Dan Christian thread, but i saw him make his debut in Adelaide Grade Cricket yesterday at Adelaide Oval...


Playing for University against Glenelg in the "Centenary Match" for both clubs.

Played quite well.

I made the comment when he came out to bat "what's the bet he'll get out first ball". had a swipe at a wide one and just missed.

went on to make 30 odd, hitting a few of them.

bowled alright. didn't take a wicket, but looked sharp and full of energy.

he drops his arm down in bowling stride which loses a bit of speed for him, but he goes alright. after seeing him in the 4 day game for NSW 2nd XI in the trial game against the Redbacks 2nd XI last month, and in this game, he's definitely suited to the 1-day format.

we'll see how he goes.

I wont be heading down tomorrow but ill probably watch a fair bit of the night session on the telly. Im gonna head down on the Sunday and maybe Monday to watch the Shield game. I hope the boys put up a decent fight for Boof and hopefully on Monday they can send him out with the win he deserves.

I dont know how big the crowd will be tomorrow. I think the weather will be a pretty big factor but hopefully everyone who can get there will. Marshy will be hoping Christian fires i know that much.
