The CSG is supportive of nothing except themselves. Feel sorry for Mark he was the only one out of the whole lot of them on Saturday night, the rest of them might aswell have had their faces painted on, if it hadnt of been for us 'gunners' it would have been very quiet, what peeved me was other supporters turning around and looking at us like we were all on drugs, meesage to those that did, we are at the football supporting the club, that is a pretty normal thing to do:thumbsu:
As ive voiced before, Mark and 2 or 3 helpers do a very good job.

However whether the CSG is a good spot for a permanent Gun home is very debatable. Obviously we'll be there till the end of the year.

I think one positive is that everywhere we go - yes, its a pun - that we manage to win over people after beiong there long enough. Last year there was some verbal stoushing with some of the elders behind where we stood but eventually they joined the winning team. Hopefully we can do the same here.

Well after what I seen Saturday night I think we make the CSG look good as the noise is now coming from their area, I think trying to move into one of the pockets would be better and give the 'gun club' the true recognition it deserves, and leave the CSG to wallow in their own misery:thumbsu:

Nah but it is about getting them involved. And slowly it is working.

I see people who aren't in the 'gun club' getting into it and yelling along with us, it's getting better slower and slower...

I agree but also we now have supposed 'supporters' cracking it at supporters who are clapping the boys off the ground after a galant loss, to possibly the best side in 2008, sometimes its like preaching to the dead:(

I guess people either have it in them or they dont unfortunately a majority of AFC supporters dont have it. I think at games interstate the AFC supporters are alot better, why Im unsure.

We've theorised over this one many times before. Essentially it comes down to the fact that the crowd we pull interstate are full of people who live outside of SA and don't get the chance to see the Crows very often, or nutters who have made the long trip across the border. Fans outside of SA are starved of opportunities to see their team, so that makes us rabid, and the ones who come over from SA just to watch the game are prone to be the vocal sort naturally.

Those are my thoughts also, I cant wait for the day they ban radios at the footy, there was women in front of us at half time who told me she was struggling to hear her radio over our chants 'lady if dont understand whats going on in front of you stay home'.

I wish I heard her say that.

I bet it was the same lady I was having a verbal jousting with all night regarding our refusal to "kick it long" or "go up the middle" despite the fact the Hawks were outnumbering us long and up the middle.

It's also a lot more of the opposition supporters, creating a feel as though you need to make noise to compete with them.

I would say it was the same one, she was holding a radio upto her ear all night.

Kenny was a star against the Hawks wasn't he :)

In fairness those Hawks blokes behind us were good blokes. Didn't rub it in after the win and the banter was fun. Making wise cracks and taking shit throughout the game, and a handshake after, it's how it is supposed to be.

I had those two blokes on my flight back Melbourne on Sunday morning, they must have had a big night of celebrating as they were very worse for wear on Sunday:D

Probably the same group of women that have been against us all year, and complained to the club and SANFL numerous times. At the end of the day, we're just not engaging them. Even if they turn around and have a crack, just completely ignore them.
