Whoever that was who had the huge save vote will go along way to winning the game. It will take a hell of alot to get them evicted. The person had a huge amount of evict votes, I think the highest but yet was still nowhere near being evicted on a double.

Any ideas on who it is? Personally I think it was Krystal.

Is the voting rigged? Or can it be manipulated?

If Camilla had an army of family members SMSing every day with a promise of being reimbursed once she won the dollars, would/could the producers find out (trace the calls) and would/could they do anything about it?

who knows if the voting is rigged or not.

but they made a farce of it in '04 when bree was evicted and re-instated the day after. :D

I've thought this before because i know that all sales of Fryzie's MLS shirts went into votes for people up against him.

Also the fact that you can bet on the winner of Big Brother. What's to stop someone from putting $10,000 on David at $4.50 to win then spending $10,000 on save votes for him?

It's a system that is quite open to rigging.

Krystal and John. Huge 'save' votes (as well as evict)

Wonder if BB wil try to put them up again and agin as revenue raisers ?

The 'save' vote has completely revoloutinised evictions.
In previous seasons, the best looking girls were always voted out first.

However, with the 'save' votes we now have teenage boys voting to keep these girls in.

If I was a betting man (which I am), I'd be tipping a Jamie, Kat, Krystal & David final four. Possibly John.
All four/five will attract significant save votes which will offset the 'evict' votes.

The others just don't have a niche demographic which will attract enough votes 'to save'.

If thats the final four itll be interesting considering the jamie/kate alliance. they wouldnt be voting for each other obviously. if they make the final 2 then i can see talk of splitting the $$$.

You could just tell what Dino was thinking when Jade was on the couch with him last night. "Get away from me you fat whore"

hahaha, didnt see that, but it wouldnt surprise me!

my fav quote from jade last nite:

"The first couple of weeks I was too opinionated ... I wasn't really myself,".....but in the same sentence she said "oh i was myself".

You wouldnt get your 10k until after the show is finished (the whole series), therefore you wouldnt be able to vote to save anyone (in this case Dave) because the show is already over.....? If you used 10k voting to save Dave, and had money on him to win that would be very foolish because that may represent less than 1 or 2 % of the entire votes entered, therefore not giving you a very high probability of success

Well last night I heard the words that explained why this year's series is rooted.

Rob was in the bathroom after they found out they failed the task and was saying that he couldn't believe that everyone was so relaxed about losing. Claire commented that the task was really hard, Rob said "What, to stop farting and swearing for a few days?".

Jamie comes out of the toilet walks past and says, "That why they give us these tasks - to create conflict, it's not worth it man!".

No ***** sherlock, your not there to pair up with some bimbo and wait your time out.

This year's house is the worst lot ever, homogenous, self-obsessed tools the lot of them.

I tend to agree.

I may be wrong but have the HM's bet the entire 100% on any task? They seem to always go with 50% or something. For me, this is boring as hell. If I was in the house it would be 100% every time. Lets face it, they are not going to let you starve, the food may be horrible, but who cares?

These HM's are just boring, they are not prepared to take risks. Has BB run its course? These guys know what it takes to win the game and they are playing it to a treat.

BR&G,

They are a disgrace and BB producers should be made to cancel the series from this Sunday and start again with the two people from each state and territory who ranked bottom of their rating scales, then you would get a series worth watching.

Have there been any discussions on religious or political beliefs or are the housemates too scared to say anything in case Hillsong or some other teeny bopper advocacy group declare war on them.

I don't know about you but if this mob are meant to represent the average ambitious young Australian then I worry a hell of alot for the future of our country.

You're under the impression that a lot of people call up. I have never called/SMSed for any comp/vote/anything.

If the numbers were so high, why don't they show how many calls they had each week?

Im just trying to think it out using simple maths. There are approx 20,000,000 people in this country. Assuming 1.2 million or so watch the eviction show per week, and each average say 3 votes per week, thats 3.6 million, and using the $10,000 example that we both looked at previously, then that is approximately 18,000 votes...which would represent 0.5% of the vote.

I would think it is fair to say that with some people watching the show spending copious amounts on voting, and others like yourself nothing, and then the likes of me who will put in 1-2 votes towards the end of the series or when someone I like is up for eviction, then we could say that there would be something in the order of 3.5 million. I could be wrong, but thats just my theory. :)

Numbers of votes are rarely ever shown on any show, BB, Aus Idol, Dancing with the Stars, etc.

My guess is because they are much lower that they'd like us to believe.

What does everyone else think about the number of votes?

I dont think alot of people do vote but I think a certain percentage of the people who do vote, vote in huge numbers.

I saw on BBB a person who said they spent $200 bucks on trying to evict Anna, I dont know if this is true but it would not suprise me, seeing people spend all this money to get the premium account and stuff.

Now back on the show, Jamie is such a nancy boy, insincere, playing the game and a complete fraud. I would be spewing if he wins, although I still wont be voting ;)

Also Camilla is so condescending, she always tries to take the moral high ground but you can tell that she is a complete slapper, and if any bloke was to give her any attention she would be just as over the top, maybe even more so.

When they had that stupid "Under the Radar" show the other week, they actually showed the voting percentages of each housemate up for nomination (there were 5 of them I think) - anyway, a couple of the percentages changed dramatically in that time (during the show). I think Krystal was one - she had the highest percentage when they went to air, but her percentage dropped about 10% or something in the space of 45 minutes. Obviously the Krystal fans jumped into action when they saw she was in trouble.

I know this is different to normal eviction voting, but it demonstrates that there couldn't have been thousands upon thousands of votes cast, given most of the percentages changed a lot. :o
