I still remember Jarni beating Germany, and France knocking you out. That was '98. I also remember how you embarressingly lost to Ecuador when all you needed was a draw to progress. How embarressment.

I knew the board was there but as I have said countless times so far I presumed it focued solely on the english league and hence never paid it any attention untill the world cup.
I remeber france knocking us out as well, it was so close and really a lucky turn of events.
Had we won, Croatia would have probally gone on to win the event.
And I did comment on the Ecuador loss but you probally over looked that.
It was embarrassing.. espeecially consdiering that Italy progressed when in all honesty they didnt deserve to

The moderators are wonderful people who do good work on this site. It's not an easy job, but they do it with wisdom and (usually) a good sense of humour and I think most of us appreciate the job they do.

1. If I'm one of your favourite posters, I'm obviously not trying hard enough.

2. I selected Italy to win the tournament. Hardly equates to support. I was in a pub on Tuesday night yelling for South Korea. My support for the Republic throughout the tournament was clear, unequivocal and obvious to anyone who knows anything about soccer. So, I can understand why you didn't know.

3. Surely the above description is a clear example of trolling. Does this poster get disciplined/censured for admitting to such behavior?

I usually take most of what you say with a pinch of salt, it would be advised you take what I say in the same way.
Would you prefer I edit that post and add in a , for your benefit??

Careful there DCFC, Sabre is a guy who doesn't like people who set him up like that.
