IMO, freo wont win one for another 10 years, even though i cant tell how they will be that far into the future.. it looks and feels l;ike the dockers are going no where!!

What makes you say that? Rather than just refer to Carlton I'll humour you and ask what makes you say we're going nowhere?

Maybe not in the next 3 years, but you can't ever say never. Every team has a year or two of good success, then from there luck plays it's part.

But to say in the next 80 to 100 years we won't win a flag is just stupid, of course we will. I just hope it's sooner rather than later

The comp is starting to become a lot more even. The big teams can't go out and buy players and the extra advantages that WC and Crows had when they started are now diluted. It is just going to be a revolving door every 12-20 years for a team to win a premiership.

On the premiership clock Freo are probably at 10.30, Carlton are at 4pm and Port at about 3pm. Those two have a lot more work to do than us at the moment at rebuilding their teams.

Don't listen to the doubters, Freo guys.
Anything can happen, even inside 1 year in this game.

I dont even have to explain myself... IMO dockers will not win a flag for the next 10 years, have a good long look at your club where they have gone in the last9 years they have been in the comp... they havnt really gone anywhere, and i think they will be staying how they are for the next 5-8 years at least

id put my money on carlton winning another flag before dockers will!

*dont get me wrong im just expressing my feeling and i am telling you my opinion... ive got nothing againts them!

have a look in the past back to Vfl. clubs that dont win a flag in there first 10/20 years find it very hard to win one...

its going to be hrad.

b ut that dosent mean im not going to support the dockers...

That's the most disappointing thing about this season. It's hard to tip a team to win the premiership because the teams that have a lot of finals experience are having a poor year. The race for the flag is wide open and anyone in the eight could pinch it... and we're going to finish 10th!

Almost as bad is the fact that everytime we perform like we did tonight the likes of Hardie, Grizzleguts and nicho Z are proven right.

Midfield needs surgery. Like to see Bomber and Jimmy on the wings providing speed.

Number one goal is to win every game at subi in 2006 and pinch 3 or 4 away fron home = 16 wins. top 4 - easy??!!

If the slime can go 19 games without loss at subi then we can too.

The clock has been stuck at 10.30 for 3 years, do you need some new batteries?

Freo will win their first flag before Cartlon will be able to pay their tax bill

And use their, not there.

I support freo and will always support freo. But i have to agree with nicho z on this one. freo wont win a flag for the next ten years. maybe a better question would be will freo win a final in the next ten years. our team since '95 has been underachieving and soft. i guess that is because we are they only club in the comp who NEVER AIMS TO WIN A FLAG. we just aim to "maybe" scrape into the eight. "Next year" we will aim for the flag. Or maybe the year after.

Okay maybe 11pm.. This squad still has 3/4 good years in it which makes it around 11 on a scale where 10pm-2am you can win a premiership. I don't think we were premiership material last year or this year no matter what coach. But we were prelim material

At the moment there are just two teams in the premiership time clock, Sydney and St Kilda. With a small argument that Adelaide were about 1pm 2 years ago and Ayres wasted a year with them so still could be around.

IMO, this is the plan based on performance indicators

2006 - top 8
2007 - top 4
2008 - GF

Freo have a star studded young list that most teams envy. All Freo need is the proper personnel (coaching wise) in place and they will be well on their way to winning a premiership. Keep the faith and it will happen one day. I must say that I much prefer a Docker supprter than an Eagle supporter anyday.

1997: 10 wins 12 loses [12th] 2005: 11 wins 11 loses [10th] Both years hard hit by injuries. Come a long way haven't we.
Dwayo is either Cameron Schwab or a bloody idiot.

We were 5th after the home and away season in 2003. With the age of our list at that stage and the players we brought to the club last year we should have improved on our performance in '03, instead we've gone backwards.

Freo, Freo, Freo

I am a Saints supporter and if it wasnt for the shocking umpiring Freo would have finished worst then 10th but Freo are shocking they can play good one game and then crap the next and when they actually decide they want to play they arent that convincing anyway, personally all Freo supporters thinking about a premiership....I wouldnt think about that at this point in time, I dont think use will even make the Finals for another 5 years

Chal...

*was that a joke.. orr? dockers will struggle to make the top 8 next year and if they do make it.. it will be just! They are a very poor team (performance wise) and it will take them a while to be threat to any club who finish in the finals for the years to come, there much againts post adelaide was well fought out IN THE FIRST HALF, second half especailly the last quarter they showed no guts or determination and no passion to win the game of football!
