Never got a hangover in America when drinking their beer - their beer was alright by me
They have a fantastic craft beer scene in the US but their big production brands are putrid. Like, Hahn lite ice in a can levels putrid.

Standard full strength beers in Oz around 4.5& alcohol
Standard full strength beers in US around 3.5% alcohol

Not quite as large a disparity as you make out there Chief
It's has 23% less alcohol!

You're making my argument for me!

Its over 25 percent difference. Thats pretty big.

It's less actually as Chief quoted, but trhere are others that run around the 4.2% mark standard such as Coors I just always found them very bland in terms of being full flavoured.

I posted the Labatts\Molsens as they were 5% beers and what was our staple as young miscreants in Michigan (and often Canada), and Warstiener (Germany/4.8% and Grolsch/Netherlands 5.0%) so Aussie beer was a bit of a retrograde step for me ;)
