Belvoir the best venue for Cold Chisel ???

I may be wrong, I have never been there before for a concert, only 4,500 capacity,out of the city, I cannot associate this venue with the mighty live act that Cold Chisel is?

belvoir amphitheatre is one of the best venues in perth.

great sound, great atmosphere.

would much rather see a band there than challenge/burswood stadium or whatever.

it's an amazing venue.

pain that it's out of the way a bit. burswood..the sound aint to good there.
challenge? aint that around the same capacity? never seen anything at that venue.

I have heard in it being a great venue I just thought it was an odd choice for Cold Chisel and their management as its not everyday that a much loved Aussie Rock act comes back for a tour and only being able to play for many less than what they could be at other venues.

Fill in drummer Charley Drayton played to more with Divinyls in 2007, a gig initially slated for Belvoir, incidentally.

It will surely be a great atmosphere at Belvoir and at least the audience will be the people who most want to be there.

There'd want to be excellent transport link ups to and from the gig being a Sunday night well out of the city for the punters.

i dont like pink/muse etc. so i've never actually been to a gig at burswood/challenge...but i don't think it'd be my thing.

belvoir isn't that far away, unless you live far south of the river.

but who would live there anyway?
