Ben Cousins best was better, Black has Cousins on longevity.
Very hard to split the two, I have Cousins simply for how many times he dragged WC across the line to a win.
Agree with this.Cousins is much better. People have really forgotten how good this guy was. 6 All Australians by 28 for Cousins, 3 All Australians to Black and he has been playing for longer. Black has the longevity thing, but Cousins at his best was so much better.
Can always trust you for an objective opinion.Black was the best player in one of the most dominant teams ever seen, whereas Cousins was made great by playing alongside Judd who shouldered soo much attention.
Not even close IMO. Black by a long way.
Can always trust you for an objective opinion.
Black was one of their best, Voss and Akermanis were better.
BTW, how is it that Cousins is being made to look better but not Black?
Cousins was an exceptional player before Judd, Kerr, Cox etc. clicked.
Also, whilst WC as a whole was not on the same level as Brisbane, it probably had one of the greatest midfields of the modern era.
Facts are both are guns. In my subjective opinion Cousins best was better but Black has been more durable. This is probably reflected in the greater amount of individual accolades that Cousins won.
